The streak has started. Wizards need to shoot better than 50% from the free throw line.

ducler will provide the rest of the details to keep the streak going!

The Wizards barely won, at home, against a Memphis team that had lost 15 of their last 16. Hopefully, they aren't feeling too good about themselves.

Absolutely. That was pathetic. We hit our free throws at a better clip and this game is a blowout.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

I haven't had time to go to a game yet this year, but just looked at Ticketmaster and found some good deals for tonight:

--a pair in Sec 101 Row C for $79 each (these are $187 at the box office, right across the aisle from $250 seats in Sec 100)

--lots of seats in the 100 level "end zones" for less than $40

Cheapest seats in the 400s are $7. About the same as for the Redskins' next home game.

Another development is that, unlike last year, resale e-tickets are not restricted to Ticketmaster. So StubHub is once again a last minute option.

I just looked at StubHub and there were two seats in VIP West Row FFF (6th row behind the basket) for $111 apiece. These are the all inclusive seats that come with a buffet and beer through the 3rd quarter, and cost $270 at the box office.

Note that you need to add fees--StubHub is about 25% and Ticketmaster is about 20%.

Anyway, lots of inexpensive options for this game.

I don’t mean to pick on Beal because the whole team is in a slump, but he’s had some fugly first halfs recently

I know we're up nicely after the 1st quarter, but... has the NBA gone downhill? I see so many missed open shots - except for Scott. Sato did a lot of good things, but he can't get the ball upcourt against presure. Well, up by 7 is good. I shouldn't complain. Just seems like the team under-achieves far too often.

Up by 16 now - the team obviously responding to my criticism. Reserves playing really well - led by Scott and Sato. Oubre... eh, that foul in the backcourt and off-balance jump shots - not good.

Sato is officially our backup point guard, and doing a great job as usual.

Mike Scott continues to be a beast.

We just have to figure out how to get our starters back in sync. They had such amazing chemistry last year. This team is significantly better then last year if the Starters get their mojo back.

Yeah, I don't get how shooters miss wide open shots. I mean... these are shots that anyone can make. And how is Juwan Evans getting so many easy shots, while Wall isn't contributing a thing? We're up by 9... but this is a terrible performance by guys who are supposed to be stars, scorers, and shooters. Without Scott and Sato, we'd be losing - against a bad team in DC.

Gotta say, Wall showed no sense of urgency when he was out there and was completely useless at both ends of the court. When he was on the court, he was arguably the worst player in the game.

Kids, don't take FT lessons from Willie Reed.
