The Wizards won their fifth straight game in a row with Satoransky. The last time Washington accomplished that feat without John Wall in the lineup was in the 2007-08 with Antonio Daniels as the starting point guard. The Wizards were able to win again with a "team" approach to basketball with 29 assists with 8 players in double figures. The two players that didn't were Satoransky and Frazier who combined for 12 assists and 1 turnover.
That being said, this was the 2nd straight game in a row that their opponent was missing multiple starters as both all star Victor Oladipo and Darren Collison did not play. As a result, only Bradley Beal and Kelly Oubre played more than 30 minutes which could be important as the Wizards play the 76ers who have not played since Saturday. Philadelphia comes into the game losing 4 of their last 5 games but the 76ers have won 6 of their last 7 games at home. Overall, this may be the toughest test for the Sato-led Wizards as it is their first back to back game of the season.
Here was Washington's last win against the 76ers, which was the season opener. Interestingly enough, both teams will be without their respective #1 picks (John Wall and Markelle Fultz)

The Philly crowd is going to be CRAZY as a carryforward of their Super Bowl Celebration. I mean, expect the home field advantage to be magnified 10 fold. And this is the Wiz 3rd game in 4 days. If the Wiz win this one, they've truly arrived this regular season. If I was a sports betting man with no rooting interest, I'd be betting big on Philly. Luckily, I'm neither.

I would bet both ways. Sounds like a bisexual joke in there but I'm going to leave it alone not that it's a bad thing... Never joke about that because if that is your lifestyle good for you.
(I invited a friend to church. Married guy. Turns out he was... That's why it was a little awkward for me. I didn't find out until I went and had a meal with the guy. I guess I didn't have any need to know but he felt like sharing. It is what it is. No biggie... I just shared that to say that I make jokes but I'm sensitive to people. Adults do what they do and I let God be the judge)
Part of me says Philly is going to Stomp the Wizards. Today is the day that the apple cart gets upset. No nobody's eating today... No Philly cheesesteaks. Joel embiid is going to go off. Ben Simmons is going to dunk all over Satoransky. Scott Brooks and probably throw Tim Frazier at Ben Simmons. Him or Jodie Meeks. Kelly Oubre probably won't play because they're trying to trade him. Same with Marcin Gortat.
As a long-term Wizards fan I think they're what they're going to do is snatch all hope out of us. They once won their last five or six games regular season games and then basically ruined the careers of Jan Vesely and Kevin Seraphin. They killed my hope for those young players.
The same way that Vesely was winning as a starter then is exactly what is happening right now.
History will repeat itself because the people running the show aren't that good.
Oh yeah the bet would be Philly to stomp the Wizards and for this to be the beginning of a long losing streak because they're determined to make a trade.
The both ways part of the bet: Everybody Eats. Wizards Feast on Philly cheese steak. Wizards win big.
I don't bet but if I did I would bet on both teams winning big two different bets.

I think the main difference between Sato at 26 and Vesely and Seraphin is maturity. Sato's a grown up who wants to help his team win. He put in the time to make himself an NBA player. Vesely played scared and Seraphin had the mindset of a teenager.

"John wall is a two way player, he brings it on defense" *turns video off*
nah but Stephen A makes a good point about the lack of veterans in the lock room, the front office thought these young guys were ready to lead, but if the top dawg and franchise guy isn't ready for that, it makes for a very awkward situation. We could really use a leader in that locker room like we had in Paul Pierce.

2nd night of a back to back on the road against a good team. I am worried about this game forsure, especially if we have to overcome Scott Brooks.
on the flip side, if the win this game, we need to start giving this roster some more credit.

This game is going to be tough, Bradley might have to get 30-40 to win. Simmons is a problem along with embiid. I think the streak ends here, although I don't want it too.

Can't be afraid to drive and finish aggressively and also protect the three point line.
