They let one get away, but now it's time to get back on track.
The Wizards a way ahead of expectations following Wall's loss and they have a chance to pick up two more wins before the break.
Git err done!

Without Dunn, this is the same Bulls team that went like 4-20 before they had that hot streak. This has got to be a blowout win.

They play the Timberpups tonight in Butler/Gibson return. So back to back situation.

A. Was it me or did Beal look tired against the Celts?
B. Oubre isn't where I hoped he would be by now
C. Can't figure out why Scott isn't getting minutes in offense needed situations
D. Our bigs need help, might as well see if Jason Smith is still rebounding decently and occasionally hitting threes

All true. Really concerned about the minutes Brad playing. I think KO will be OK but not a good few weeks from him overall. Smith might be so bad defensively to be unplayable.
The post ASG schedule is brutal, we need this one and Knicks.

That's nice and all. And I don't doubt that Beal is angry with himself. But my problem with him wasn't that he was missing so many shots. It was that he was taking so many bad shots. That's something he can control. I can easily forgive bad shooting nights. It happens. But it's much harder for me to forgive bad decision-making for an entire game.
Move the ball, Brad. Let everyone eat. You've done so well over this stretch of games with Wall out. Don't regress into old habits.

He had a huge game last night in their W against the Timberpups

A--Yes. I think his mental game was off and that too happens when we're tired
B. Agreed. Oubre likes to get a volume of shots
C. I would like to see more of Mike Scott, especially at crunch time, on offense.
D. I think Coach Brooks does not understand the importance of spontaneity. Jason Smith is potentially an energizer, a rebounder, and a fresh body. Unfortunately, SB seems to believe in keeping a predictable roster .
It's tragic to me that Smith may play once every 10 games, and only token minutes.

Minnesota gave up Dunn and Lavine, right?

I've never thought Oubre was going to amount to much, so from my point of view he is WAY ahead of schedule and one of the bright spots of the season, even if he is in a slump right now.

If we were still using Oubre in our small ball lineup alongside Porter, he’d be shooting 40+% from 3, looking much better on defense, and making hustle plays all over the court.
Coaching is making him look awful.

Yup.
Dunn is out with a concussion. I think he’s playing in their next game.

I really don't understand why Scott doesn't play more.
The guy averages 18 points per 36 minutes with a TS% of .638. That's insanely good. Why can't he play 24 minutes a game instead of 18? I realize his rebounding is sub-par, but it's not that much worse than Morris'.

Instead of being 31-24, I truly believe that the Wizards could be 36-19 or better with better coaching.
