GT #57: Bullets @ Knicks 7:30 PM (NBCSW/1500 AM) [2/14/18]

Post#1 » by FAH1223 » Mon Feb 12, 2018 2:29 am

YOUR Washington Bullets ARE 32-24!

After the Tomas Satoransky revolution in Chicago, the Wiz head to the Garden before the All-Star Break.

The Knicks have fallen on tough times. Porzingis tore his ACL and the decent start from earlier in the season has gone south to tank mode.

Will the Bullets have a PG ready for this game?

The schedule right here is kind to the Wizards. This New York game is their only game over a 12-day period. Anybody who is dinged up ought to take the game off and heal up. Also, there's no need to rush in finding a PG off of waivers. Tim Frazier might only miss one game.

Just looked at the schedule. Man its brutal with good teams. But that might be a good thing considering the Wiz are above .500 against playoff caliber opponents.

Brooks said on the radio this AM that they're going to have a stretch of 15 straight games against .500 or above teams coming up shortly after the AS break. Gotta win a game like this against the Knicks sans Porz.

Trap game.

The Knicks have lost 7 straight and managed to crack the 100 point mark only once in a high scoring affair against the Pacers.

They have three wildcards in Beasley, Kanter and Hardaway that can pop off every now and then and I'm sure Burke is going to be looking forward to facing this team after how his stint with this team turned sour last year.

This is a team the Wizards should beat handily, but then again who knows with this group.

I'm feeling pretty good about the team not falling into a "trap game" mentality. With Wall out, they've had no choice but to focus, work hard, and take opponents seriously. They don't have the margin of error to screw around.

That doesn't mean they can't lose. I'm just saying that if they lose, I expect the issue to be really cold shooting from the Wiz and/or really hot shooting from the Knicks. I don't think it'll be a lethargic effort.

This is the worst team in the NBA easily without Porzingis. Can't see us losing.

Actually...Lakers roster minus Clarkson and Nance is really really rough unless IT gets back to form quickly lol

Actually the Suns minus Booker is the worst team in the league. Lost 2 games in the last week by 40+ points.

Kinda miffed we didn't get a 10-day or a d-league call up. Frazier won't be much good with a bung nose and a mask on. And Beal running the point is a disaster every time.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Frazier didn't make the trip, Sato is banged up and no 10-day contract by the CheapZards. So that means a lot of Beal and Otto at the point tonight. :-?

Last time that happened, a coach was fired.

I think they should give AFM a look. He's working at at the Results in Bethesda.

Automatic L.

Lots of turnovers. Hardaway and Beasley gonna get out in transition.

End of the game everyone will be blaming Brooks and Beal.

Beasley had been playing well. Saw one game that he was pretty much unstoppable.
Trey Burke hasn't done much, but Knicks will probably give him good minutes to get revenge on team that gave up on him.
Looks like Sato will play but not Frazier. Beal is terrible at running the offense. Bad passing and holds on to ball. Wish Wiz had used 10 day g-league call up for Weber.
IMO, about 50% chance of winning.

This is a "break a leg" kind of strategy, right?

Is he doing yoga with Drew Gooden's girlfriend?

Also, I understand that WizarDynasty is keeping himself in game shape at that gym up in Columbia.
