GT #58: Bullets @ Cavs 8 PM (TNT/1500 AM)

YOUR Washington Bullets ARE 33-24!

The All-Star Break is over. The Wiz have one of the toughest schedules over the last 25 games. This may very well be the time where the Wiz can stay pat as the #4 seed or even overtake the Cavs for #3 or being in the lottery.

The Bullets are 7-2 since John went out with surgery on his left knee.

Meanwhile, the Cavs look like a new team post-trade deadline. Clarkson, Nance, Hood, and Hill have been a dose of fresh air for a Cavs team that looked like they were headed to the lottery a couple weeks ago. But they remain in #3 and they have the best player in the NBA who's probably going to the NBA Finals for the 8th straight year now.

Can the Wiz beat the Cavs for the first time this season?

What we have going for us in this game is that the new Cavs haven't yet played a single game together.

OTOH, they've obviously been practicing hard, & they might be pretty relaxed & loose, not feeling much pressure, which might help them.

In other words -- this game is ours. We are going to win & be 10 games above .500 !

Huh? They have played 2 games and looked great. That is why everyone is so hyped about them

This should be a great game. We were playing the best ball in the east going into the all star break last year and it killed our rhythm for some reason. I don't think that happens this year. Both teams will be extremely confident but these are the kind of games where you need that other star like Wall but I wouldn't be shocked if we upset them and then the media goes on a huge frenzy about the Cavs just having role players and LeBron is gone.....lol

We ain’t got the juice to keep up with the suddenly young and rejuvenated Cavs.

We’ll play hard and make a few runs to mask the fact that the Crabs will be in control from start to finish.

These were great trades for the Cavs and LeBron definitely seems rejuvenated but I am still not sold just yet. They are in the honeymoon period. They also looked awesome in the first 2 games with IT. Even more so though is what I talked about above. Good trades but this is not Anthony Davis or Cousins that we are talking about. They are still mostly just good role players. That is why I said that if we win this game then the lead story on tnt after and on every show the next day will be about LeBron leaving because they added all role players when you need a star

This is going to be a rough game. The narrative is going to be painful all game, pretty sure it will be 80-20 in terms of coverage points.

I expect this.

Fouls will be called early on Satoransky. Lebron will go out of his way to shut down the source of everybody eats. Beal will try to do too much. Clarkson's going to get his as per usual when he plays the Wizards. Korver or JR Smith are going to hit a lot of threes.

I'm thinking this is a loss, and one that things go bad quickly. There is NO WAY this game gets called evenly in Cleveland.

A great performance in the ASG for Bron, combined with a complete roster overhaul and a couple of games together under their belt...

Cant see us winning.

We probably have a minimal chance at actually making this a game and pulling out a W... which is exactly why we will throttle them

Cavs signed Marcus Thornton.

We’re doomed.

Can't see us winning. This new look Cavs team cut out the cancer and they are all hustle and teamwork now.

Haven't seen George Hill play in a while but I recall him as a pesky fella with the Pacers, I could see him giving Satoransky quite a bit of trouble. Then there's the matchup with our backup guards... are we going to see a masked Frazier or mighty Meeks running the point :\

This is a game where rebounding is going to cost us. Larry Nance's clutch rebounding killed the Thunder.
