YOUR Washington Bullets are 38-28 and are coming off a blowout W against the Brow-less Pelicans!

Tonight, they are in South Beach for the final time this season. It's a re-match against the HEAT who the Bullets were able to outlast on Tuesday night in overtime.

The HEAT beat the 76ers in their last game and Hassan Whiteside went off. Gortat and company did a decent job last game. But if Whiteside does what he did to Embiid (so disrespectful, btw), its going to be TOUGH to win in Miami.

The Bullets are on a back to back. A W here would be huge for separation with the HEAT.

Big game. We got this.

The Otto/Sato combo is so fun to watch. Smart basketball, great spacing and timely cuts. The defense has energy, and the offense has flow. I'm liking what the team has been doing the past few weeks, and I'm so psyched to get Johnny Ballgame back on the court soon.

Wiz have a chance to make a splash. Despite the struggles they've had throughout the season, the injuries, and the harsh late-season schedule, they've put themselves into a position to make a deep run. It's a pivotal moment in the careers of all the players, and if the chemistry jives just right... maybe, just maybe... I'm dreaming a little but, but juuuust maybe they can make it out of Round 2 this year.

One game at a time, though. Take down the Heat. The roster is actually decent for matching up with Miami, having a duo of (somewhat) bangers in Gortat and Mahinmi to take on Whiteside is a big plus. Between the two of them, hopefully they show enough energy and physicality to throw him off his game a bit.

On the Heat, I was impressed with Josh Richardson's court presence last matchup. He has good size, a knack for the ball on Defense, and he seems to be in the right place more often than not. Keeping him in check, especially from 3pt range, might be a key tonight.

I hope Beal isn't too worn down with all the minutes. So glad he got a little rest in the 2nd half of the Pelicans blowout. The attention he draws really opens up things for Sato.

Morris has actually been active and dialed in, lately. Against the Pelicans, the play when Sato's defender completely left him open for a baseline jumper (on which Sato elevated well and splashed it, no problem) was a telling moment. The defense was clearly expecting a pass on the pick'n'pop, and the Czech Ace made them pay.

The scouting report on Sato must be changing: "Can't leave him open." Teams are going to learn that fact soon. The Wiz have weapons and spacing on offense with the current lineup. It's difficult to defend, especially with the focus of the defense keyed in on Brad.

Let's goooooooooooooooooooo!!!!

Ah, I can hear the canned crowd noise, see the spray tans and smell the cheap cologne now.

Drive a stake in their hearts tonight you Wizards!

Can't let up now. The next 5 games are:

@ Miami
vs Minnesota
@ Boston
vs Indiana (absolute must-win game)
@ San Antonio

We need to win that Indy game plus at least 2 of the other 4. Of those 4, this Miami game is probably the weakest opponent. I'm not saying it will be easy, but it will be easier than winning in Boston or San Antonio. We have to get the W now.

Miami the weakest opponent , guess you have not watched much Wiz and Miami games recently. Give the Wiz Indy any day of the week.

The Spurs have been bad since January. With our luck, Kawhi Leonard will return when we play the Spurs.

Bux just signed Brandon Jennings. You can eliminate them from contention.

I agree. Miami's a tough matchup for Washington. I do not expect a win today for the Wizards.

I also would prefer to see the Wizards versus the Pacers in the playoffs preferably with home court in a 4/5 match up

Scott Brooks won't leave them on the court even if they are dominating

Their rookie Bam Adebayo will dominate
He is going to be a very good one. However, since he is a power player I do not think he will get the better of even Gortat or Mahinmi.

He could simply out work and out hustle both of them on the offensive glass. I think he is exploitable on on defense since he is a rookie but I actually think he will make Whiteside expendable for the heat fairly soon.

I don't think we can handle their athleticism. Have to go with Oubre and Mahinmi early.
