i have this feeling guys...all we got to do is not blow it and win our first round series. Would be even better if we lost to the depleted celtics. I will be rooting for us to get swept in the first round. I hate the team...the owner...and the GM....

I wish, but I'm sure they'll chalk up a first round failure to Wall being hurt. I'm convinced we're stuck with Ernie forever.

Congrats Jay, you just guaranteed us a conference finals appearance and a 5 yr contract extension for Ernie!

I'm at the point where I wouldn't be surprised if Kyrie and Kawhi's injuries were used as excuses for Ernie to keep his job  .

Ernie's contract expired last summer and you can be certain that he is under a new one. Ernie is GM 4 Life.

And a May snowstorm

I would put up with any number of EG years if it meant lucking into a championship - a stopped clock right every 40 years.

A Finals appearance, conference championship and 5 years would be ok even if the negative is pretty bad. Just the conference finals isn't enought to endure EG5YR.

Old timers know Jay's prognostication skills have always been on point.

We've thought that in Milwaukee for years. And year after year our owners still meddle and hire incompetent or non power GM's.

We're in the same spiritual boat my friends. Capped out roster, mediocre GM, mediocre roster save for Giannis and owner(s) who don't get it.

Its funny that you can google search what is grunfeld contract situation and nothing comes up. It's let Ted wiped it all off the face of the intranet on purpose. I'm stuck b/c I want EG to get fired but the team has to be bad and I don't want that either. We're just screwed until 2023 when Wall/Beal/Porter are in their last years of the contract, eating up close to 90 mil in cap.

Ernie will not get fired... ever.

The best case scenario is that he is encouraged to retire in the next couple of years. He is 63 years old and a multi-millionaire, after all.

They may need to let EG go just for new fresh outlook on things
But Oubre (along with almost everyone else on the bench) Porter and Beal have been horrible the last 2 months or so and EG can't be blamed for that

gm for 15 years and nothing to show for it. He should’ve been fired years ago

How many gm's do?
You guys wanna blame him for the players not playing up to their capabilities and that's crazy
Not saying he's blameless but c'mon
