Let me guess, it's 25 pages of complaints about Gortat setting illegal screens and the Wizards flopping?
The remaining pages are what would Fred VanVleet do.

FVV to Raps fans equals Sean Lee to Skip Bayless

Last year the Wizards got blown out in game 5 at Boston. We always seem to end up down 3-2 with a game 6 at home.
it would be nice to not get blown out this time around. Of course, the issue with winning the series is that Toronto has to just win at home while we have to win on the road. And I like our chances more here than in a game 7.

I've seen the media say we've lost 8 straight road playoff games. We closed out Atlanta on the road in game 6 last year, so it's actually 6 straight losses. Here's hoping the 7th time is the charm.

Eight straight road games overall. Not playoff games.

Not always

That was almost a #SoWizards loss. Bulls were getting blown out till Pargo and company just started hitting shots

It's nice that the Wizards have won two games. I don't really have any expectations--high or low--because this team has shown that you never know what they're bringing on a game to game basis.
They can be a good team. Hopefully they care about *being* a good team, as opposed to thinking that they are and telling everyone else that they are.

wouldn't surprise me if they get blown out right from the start and brooks turns to his Scott/Morris front court with Lawson running the show and makes things even worse.
they have to play defense and take good shots for 48 minutes, and not be forced to overcome Brooks. Unless Toronto comes out and throws the ball away 20 times and Derozan reverts to mr inefficient chucker, I just cannot see the Wizards winning this game
you just don't win pivotal playoff games on the road against the top seed in the conference when your coach is literally throwing darts for his personnel decisions.

Yeah, if history is any indication, we'll probably come out with a clunker tonight, then play an inspired game-6 but ultimately come up short.
Would love for them to surprise me, but that's what I'm prepared for.

I honestly never heard of Van Vleet before going on that board. According to them, you would think he's Stockton reincarnated.

If I was the coach... I'd run the starters, sub Otto out at 8 min mark for KO
Then sub out Gortat and Morris for Mahinmi and Scott.
Sub out John for either Ty or Sato
Then sub out Beal for Sato or Ty
And then bring Otto back in soon if Scott can't hit a shot. If Mahinmi is sucking, I'd play a Scott-Otto front court because it'd be more effective and Otto rebounds even if he's outmatched.

I have a feeling that at the end of the series people are going to say that the Wiz swept them last time, lost the first 2 games this year, and then swept them 4 straight again

The Raps starters are a lot better than the Wizards starters so you just have to hope that we can end the first quarter without a major deficit and that Casey continues to go away from JV and OG to close games.

I don't agree with that statement. They have definitely gotten off to better starts but I am in no way ready to concede that they have a better starting group

He has a higher RPM than Bradley Beal (I know you guys disregard analytics)
He also averages 15 points 6 assists 5 rebounds and 1.6 steals per 36 on .556 TS.
He also was the Pg for 4 years on that legendary Wichita state team that made the final 4 as a Cinderella. Where you been

NOPE! I am not co-signing that negativity man. Wiz gonna win this game. I don't care what the past says.

With Gortat starting, Toronto has a better starting group. We give up too many 3s with Gortat in the game.
