I wonder if a Harden for Hield and Barnes would be interesting to Houston. One trade where I think that both teams would win...

Hield and Barnes next to Wall would be quite good (IMO). And the Kings need a focus for their half-court offense.

I think Hield will be very difficult to trade in a 2 team deal, due to his "Posion Pill" status for salary cap rules.

Hadn't considered that one... thanks.

Gobert just signed a 5-year extension.

He joins Anthony Davis, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Lebron James, Jayson Tatum, Paul George, Gordon Hayward, Bam Adebayo, Donovan Mitchell, Jrue Holiday and Stephen Adams as former free agent targets who have taken themselves off the market by signing an extension.

The 2021 free agency class is now just Kawhi and Oladipo, plus a few guys that nobody really wants like Blake Griffin, Andre Drummond and Demarr Derozan. There's also a couple of RFA's like OG Anunoby, John Collins and Jonathan Isaac who will probably get a very large payday as their teams match big offers.

Really don't know what RHJ can't stick on a team ? Personality issues?

I always liked his game. He was very effective against us when he was with the Nets. Good rebounder and defender. His style doesn’t fit today’s game. He needs the ball within 15 feet of the basket to be a threat. Most teams want their wing players to hang out at the 3 point line. You can’t run one offense for rhj and another for the rest of the team.

Yeah but athletic 25 year old good defenders are worth a spot on a team imo .

Not only that, RHJ's a pretty good ball-handler and passer with a 7'2 wingspan, has the strength to play some PF and the quickness to play the 3. He'll find an NBA job and will likely do well, imo.

Kuzma got 3 years, 40 mil. That's closer to what I thought Bertans deserved. But it's the Wizards...

Wow that would be a horrible return for the Rockets unless there's more than a half-decade of unprotected picks attached. Barnes doesn't have a ton of value on his own and the Kings have been trying to trade Hield for a minute.

Bertans has significantly more value than Kuz. Only reason we talk about a guy like Kuz so much is because he's with the Lakers.

Your sacrificing as much if not more offense than the defensive contributions he can provide. Its like 4 vs 5 on the offensive end everytime he's out there.

Eh I'm not so sure. Both are bench gunners that play no defense. Yes Bertans is better, but he's not 40 million better. No way.

I realize he's not going to be an all-star, but he's still worth a roster spot - not saying with the Wizards but somewhere in the NBA.

Remember who was all in on MKG. And frankly, RHJ's a better ball-handler and passer.

Well, Bertans got a 5-year deal. So, would you rather have Bertans for $16mn/year or Kuzma for $13.3 mm/year? No brainer for me.

Also, only $5mn are guaranteed for the final year of Bertan’s contract (unless he plays 75% of regular games the 4th season).

Lol... One of these "Bench Gunners" just had a TS of 63% and an ORtg of 120 while being the best 3 point shooter in the history of basketball outside of maybe Curry and Bird.
The other just had a TS of 53% with an ORtg of 103.

Kuz is trash.

My exact thought, the low self-esteem of the Wizards FO causes them to do these kind of signings, picking-up where Ernie left-off...
I wanted The Laser back though, the issue is the 5-year deal.
