Don't Blame John Wall(!!!)

People who know me already have the idea that I don't like John Wall. DON'T GET IT TWISTED!
The young man is ALRIGHT WITH ME. (Period)
I'm struggling with stuff at 57 years old. Last damn thing THIS BLACK MAN (me) is going to be Bill Cosby towards Hannibal Burruss. If that went over your head.. I'm laughing.

My GOAL is a win-win trade that makes Wall go UP. Like HOF up. He has the sincere will and drive to be SO MUCH BETTER...
Yes, he has bad leadership trait in some respects. Chalk up that attitude to TOO MUCH MONEY TOO SOON league wide. It hinders coaching...which brings me to my stance.
Scott Brooks lacks the coaching acumen for the Wizards to grow better. He and the roster destroyer are RUINING A very good (NOT GREAT YET) player.
It's not too late. Just don't associate ME with Wall bashing that goes overboard.
I think Wall is a great dude.
I can be MORE THAN A BIT OF AN A-HOLE. That's just my opinion getting out front and clashing with another person's sense of security.
I want John to PROSPER ON AND OFF THE COURT.
Out

He needs a better coach (like Pop) and at least one better teammate (LeBron, Kawhi etc.) so he'd be more humble. I have nothing against him as a person but as a basketball player/"leader", ugh...

Well said!
Yeppers...better coach6to check his ego.
I would ask some questions behind the scenes. Alcohol consumption? Is everything going well psychologically?
I know personally that I was not happy and got really sick to the point that I was almost suicidal when I hit the very same age as JW is now. Depression is not anything to be ashamed about.
Wall might not need a Kawhi but who doesn't need a superstar?!? Otto is not a guy John respects. I am not sure what the problem is but I think PORTER IS SELFLESS.

You either have superior talent or superior coaching...wiz got neither. When your best player aspires to be a member of the 3rd NBA team in his career year...and your next best player aspires to be a consistent allstar in the lowly east your team and the 3rd member of your big 3 would struggle to start on most NBA team you literally has a dearth of talent. So if this is the roster you have you need to have a coach with a game plan that gets the most out of the whole roster. I dont blame John...John aint good enough to be blamed for this teams sorry play...just like its not Beal, Otto or Morris’s help. When i look at this roster i think to myself Erine felt like Rivers was going to help us more than Sato and Brooks doubled down on that thought and plays Rivers more than Otto and Sato on nights! Naw not Walls fault...Wall is exactly who he always has been.

I dont know about this... you see, John isnt playing like John of the last 5 years. He isnt passing the ball like he used to, like a pass first PG. Its like somebody got in his head and said "you should be like Westbrook". Go get your own." Right now, he takes one shot less than Beal on average in a game. Thats not what you want in a pass first PG. If you look at the way Wall has been playing, it seem like he is trying to emulate Westbrook. There are a lot more wild plays, as he tries to force things.
Difference is that Westbrook doesnt take plays off, and he is always 100%, but Wall isnt. And, Wall complains a little too much more than Westbrook.
I want the Wall from last year. THe one who found his teammate for open shots. The one who gave up a shot for a someone elses better shot. The one who encouraged his teammates. The one who took fewer shots.

Wall hasn't been great but much of his career feels like a Jeff Fisher, Jared Goff situation and the sad part is that I don't have faith in us ever getting a Sean McVay. Ted and Ernie are clueless

It a good thing that John wants to be the MVP but I wish he had kept quiet instead of announcing it to the media.

John Wall is garbage. He needs coach John Thompson in his life.

Good comparison.

Were we watching the same John Wall last year? The guy whose teammates came up with the slogan “everyone eats” to celebrate when Wall was out injured? The guy who got into public beefs with his starting center?
