Steven A. Smith = WRONG

Post#1 » by Chocolate City Jordanaire » Wed Nov 7, 2018 11:16 pm

I just watched complete hogwash. Steven A called Brooks "a damn good coach".

n word please

He next said Wall was not a leader, came in overweight, and in consecutive games had 9 and 7 turnovers...AND is untradable.

So what else did he spew? "Ernie Grunfeld needs to make some changes"..."trade Bradley Beal".

MY THOUGHTS
1. SAS is a friend of EG and Brooks
2. i wish I hadn't listened to that crap
3. He will change his tune soon enough to say just the opposite.

He ain’t wrong.

Wall does look unfit. I’ve never seen him come back in elite shape once. He relies so heavily on his drive and dishes that it’s become very scoutable. He has no plan B

Porter looks like he cannot stand his team. Playing like it too.

Beal and Wall look to be completely off each other. When your two best players don’t like each other you have no chance.

The fish rots at the head. Starts on the court with Beal and Wall leading. They’ve shown nothing, they look beat.

No point in taking anything this joker says serious. He's good for an epic rant every now and then but beyond that he's just a giant windbag.

Wall and Beal clearly are different types of guys but them not liking each other is over rated. Kyrie actually didn’t like Lebron and didn’t hang out with him...and won. Wall is often over passing to Beal instead of getting other guys the ball...you know that.

SAS is a clown...blow it up...but don’t do what SAS said...because he is working for the lakers. None of those pieces get the wiz any closer to a ring. Its like SAS works for Lebron...all the trades help the lakers at the expense of Wiz, Portland or NO. F that...why do we care if Lebron gets help? SAS try to be at least close to objective- if the lakers don’t want ball or Ingram _ why do the wiz?

Any friend of EG isn’t a friend of the wiz fans...

Btw...notice he didn’t push for any big stars to come here when we had space...

Pops is a damn good coach. Casey is a damn good coach. Brett Brown is a damn good coach. D'Antoni is a damn good coach. Kerr is a damn good coach.

Brooks cant be mentioned in the same paragraph as above. Brooks is an average coach. And SAS just says stuff out of his arse a lot of the time. SAS is an average sports commentator.

SAS deserves sassing for calling Brooks a damn good coach. What has he done except achieved longevity? He's the EG of coaches. Unbelievable that the Wiz gave him the job without even interviewing anyone else - and overpaid dramatically for the privilege.

Idk.. if the guy in this video is "unfit" I'd love to see what some of you guys look like

Beal and Wall not liking each other is old fake news . There are people who's job it would be to report on such things (for example beat reporters like Candace Buckner) and they've all said its a false narrative

But even still, your statement doesn't hold water - Kobe & Shaq weren't just different people, they actively hated each other but still made it work. Ray Allen hated his Celtics teammates. Kyrie and Lebron , as mentioned earlier, reportedly they didn't even speak to each other outside of in-game situations. Heck I don't even think the Warriors all kumbaya with each other (Draymond's locker room issues have been well-reported) . The media just doesn't talk about it bc they're winning so that becomes the story.

Clubbing activity and professionalism concerns...?

Wall needs to perform real well or else those issues will be on blast.

It's as if those hot takes are "schtick" that attracts ratings, which is what makes ESPN lots of $$. Could almost make me thinks SAS values fame and fortune more than integrity and credibility!

Never been a fan of SAS. Never. He is the Trump of sports commentators
in that he spouts whatever BS he already believes which is often completely wrong.

Wall's play early season wasn't that great. I hate when he jumps to pass.Always have.
He often gets away with it but that doesn't mean it's a good play.

Last night Wall played weak D for 3 quarters and then made the play of the game
blocking Fornier's 3 in the corner then drawing the loose ball foul for FTs.
He was outstanding last night. Going up against DJ Augustin.
