I may or may not watch this one, but we need a gamethread anyway, so here it goes.

Another must win game. A loss here would be a backbreaker.

This is a chance for the Wizards to right the ship. Their next 5 opponents are weak East Conference teams. The Wizards are only 3 games back from the 7th seed so it's not like the season is over yet, but they can't dig too deep of a hole.

Magic are pretty explosive. 130 points tonight for them. Wiz score 111.

Orlando a sadder organization then we are. No playoffs since 2012 and not much talent to show for it. Their bench is even worse than ours. Clifford a good coach for that team at this point, will play hard and try on defense. We should win.

They are indeed one of the few organizations even worse than us. In the past 25 years, they had 3 #1 overall picks plus 15 more lottery picks and yet they have no championships and only made the Finals twice. It's even worse when you consider that one of those #1 overall picks is Shaq, who is an 8 time All-NBA 1st teamer and one of the 10 best players of all time, and another is Dwight who is 5 time all-NBA 1st teamer and destined for the HOF. (The third is Webber, who was traded for Penny, who was a 2-time All-NBA first teamer.)

Basically, they were far luckier than we were in the draft, and still have nothing to show for it.

The Wizards have had only one #1 overall pick in that time frame, and it happened in a draft that had nobody of the caliber of Shaq, Dwight or Webber. Wall wasn't an awful #1 pick like Bargnani or Bennett, but he was never even a 2nd team All-NBA player and he is not a sure bet for the HOF.

The good Kieff apparently is starting tonight. Was hoping that Brooks' starting tank unit would continue and has.

Good start. You would think adding Kieff to the bench would be a good thing. They lack scoring and he might be a better player with tthose guys.

There's the great Wizards' defense we've been accustomed to seeing.

Khem Birch I believe is buried at the end of the Magic bench. I love his game and energy. Don't think he would cost us much to acquire.
