YOUR Washington Bullets ARE MESSING UP THE TANK AND HAVE WON 2 IN A ROW.

On Wednesday, they play the 2-11 Cavaliers. This has the makings of a classic #SoWizards loss. The Cavs are missing multiple rotational pieces included Kevin Love who's out for a month with a foot injury. The Cavs obliterated the Hornets last night in a stunning display of actual good basketball which hasn't been seen in Cleveland since that guy LeBron headed West.

Can the Wizards return to their old ways of losing to sub .500 teams? Will Otto Porter continue to be - as Stephen A. Smith said - comatose? Will the ball continue to stick with more ugly isolation basketball?!

My gut says yes to all of those!

#TankForZion #FireErnie :)

A must win. I dont get to watch the Wiz as much as I used to. I probably would try harder but Brooks upsets me most of the time.

Can someone tell me if we run the high screen play anymore when Wall comes off the pick and fires at across the opposite side of the court for the 3? It seems like I never see that anymore and Wall was like the best in history at it. It was the #1 play that got all of our SF's paid.

Now I know that every coach has their own system but I feel like the greats aren't afraid to incorporate what a player or team did well before you. We are actually paying our SF the max now and he struggles to get the rock yet you don't use our #1 play that used to give our SF the best look. I think running that play would open things up for Porter to be more included in the offense. It often led to a wide open shot for a great shooter like Porter

One big difference is that we have been going with Green at center a lot more, giving us a 5-out set. With that the case, Wall is encountering fewer help defenders and he often can get to the rim himself. 41.3% of his attempts are now at the rim, versus the 32.6% that has been his career norm (and just 31.0% last year). His scoring efficiency at the rim is 63%, slightly above his career average of 61.5%.

Wall is now at a career high TS% of .551. Basically, he is exchanging corner 3's for more shots at the rim. As long as he shoots 63% at the rim, it's a good deal - particularly since the team is shooting so poorly from 3-point range.

Yup.

Any normal team would recognize that, with such a terrible start, the team cannot afford to lose ANY of these types of games. But the Wizards are not a normal team. They can be counted on to give a piss poor effort against a bad team on a regular basis. It really is amazing.

Hoping for a loss since a 3 game streak will bring that troll millellie back to the board.

They get the Nets without Levert next. Make that a 4 game winning streak. Then they hit Portland again and things get tougher from there. They aren't going to be good but they aren't going to be good at tanking, either. The real test these games will be if the Wizards can defend at all. The Cavs are a bad offensive team and while the Nets have been pretty good much of their success has been centered around Levert. Can the Wizards give up 120+ points each game?

Is a certain someone going on a three game win-streak?

I think it is a "for sure" - but appearance and Millie jinx could up end it...

Cleveland does not play any facet of basketball well, except maybe rebounding. We win again. Does not mean we are good.

Otto taking and making two mid-range floaters. The metric heads just spit out their cappuccino.

If the Wiz try defensively, they should win this game by 30 but we know they are just gong to do enough to win.
