Rivers revenge game against dad, goes for 40 as Wizards lose by 40.

They should suspend Wall for bad behavior for this game and bench Morris. Start Sato/Beal/Oubre/Porter/Mahinmi (Howard didn't practice yesterday iirc) and off the bench Rivers/Brown/Green/Morris/Bryant. I don't care about the result, just play hard D and bring back "everybody eats" offense.

There aren't enough shots in a game for Rivers to score 40. He'd have to get like 48 FGA. I could see him getting 48 MP, though.

Rivers' career high is from last season (38p) and he got it in just 33:07 (FG/FGA 14/20), so anything's possible!

Wait. There are actually games to be played? I was already getting excited about the upcoming offseason!

I don't see how the Wizards can win any more games against decent opponents. They're demoralized, disorganized, and the coach has lost the team.

Even when they play hard, they stink because they're being outsmarted. And now, it's hard to expect them to even play hard.

I voted for a win, #SoWizards.

I'm tempted to pay $37 for a seat in Section 102, Row C (easy earshot of the Wizards' bench), and let loose with some expletive-laced tirades until I'm escorted out of the arena.

So nothing's going to change, what a surprise.

Clippers had really hard game vs Atlanta yesterday, they were losing coming into 4Q and Gallinari didn't play so most of the offense relied on Harris. This game might be closer bc of that fact.

If their starting lineup doesn't play well they can easily go to Lou Williams and Harrell of the bench that duo already won few games this year for them.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is really exciting young guy to watch if only Wizards had anyone like him to look into the future.

Judging from the side by side player photos, our heads seem to be incrementally bigger so, we'll outsmart them, but may have trouble carrying all of that head weight for a full 48 minutes. Therefore, it's anybody's game.

Yup. At this point, I'm totally rooting for them to lose. I want losses as far as the eye can see until Grunfeld is fired.

I'll also root for Wall to play really well so that he improves his trade value.
