GT #22: Wizards @ 76ers 7 PM (NBCSW/1500 AM)

YOUR Washington Bullets are now 8-13 and are approaching where many thought they'd be at.. a .500 team at the bottom half of the Eastern Conference playoff race. They're currently the 9th seed with signs of the day of reckoning approaching. The team never leads after the 1st quarter, routinely is down 20 points every night only to claw back and ultimately lose big on the road or narrowly win some home games.
TONIGHT, they are in Philadelphia to face the newest edition of the 76ers. The Sixers traded for Jimmy Butler only a few weeks ago (he already has two GW shots)... sending Saric and Covington to the T-Wolves who are playing outstanding defensive basketball. The Sixers have gotten worse defensively since the trade but have picked it up lately after taking some Ls. Embiid is an MVP candidate and Ben Simmons still can't shoot and refuses to shoot a 3 if he's left wide open.
Despite that, the Wizards will probably get blown out of the water early. Thomas Bryant's welcome to the NBA faces his biggest challenge tonight. And with the news that Dwight Howard will be out for most of the season should he get surgery for his ass, its looking like the young pup will see consistent minutes. The well-fed, $64M Center racking up DNP-CDs on the bench should get some run tonight too.

-------------------------VS-------------------------

LAST GAME:
Wizards @ Pelicans - 104-125 (L)
76ers @ Knicks - 117-91 (W)
