Brenda cannot coach well enough to beat the great programs. They had no business losing to Texas last season. They had the most talent team to not make the Final Four.

TO ALL THE PLAYERS PLEASE PROVE ME WRONG. I WANT YOU GUYS TO SUCCEED

I don’t like Coach Frese because she blocked me on Twitter. Her program of course is an A+ program. She puts people in the WNBA. They have a great time being on her team 90% of the time I’m sure. Probably 99% a time. But me personally? I think she has never been a great defensive coach and the way she lost last year was just stupid. Anyone could see that the Texas strategy was to alienate and discombobulate the point guard of Maryland. This coach did the same thing Scott Brooks does which is leave it in the hands of the Star. I am not even going to name the young lady (AO). All they did was make an ugly game in which Maryland lost by slowing the tempo to a crawl. The other guard who is from an Ivy League school had an uncharacteristically bad, but there were players on the other team these girls knew. The game was weird. THE TEXAS C WAS BY FAR THE BEST PLAYER ON THE COURT and I think she went #1 overall in the WNBA DRAFT.

Still, I was miffed.

Bad luck to play in Texas. Bad that they let two players, the Longhorns C and one other player, beat a TEAM.

But worst of all was the coach. Van Chancellor put it best in commentary. Maryland plays at one speed.

I'm going to say one other thing: MAYBE THIS SEASON THEY WON"T BE FULL OF THEMSELVES AND MAYBE THEY WILL BE HUMBLE AND SMART.

I see NO REASON why this team can't win them all this season.
After the Wizards GM really went and did it by having an imaginative, strong, draft day. I totally feel this as well;

It'll be interesting to see how Julian Reese compares to Jalen Smith.

WP thanks for posting! I did not have any idea about this game.

Tonight versus Illinois, the same team that beat Nebraska.

Big game! I hope Taulia has time and the receivers do their thing. Also, the defense is going to have to control the line of scrimmage against the Illini running attack. Time of possession will factor in as will fewest turnovers and special teams.
