Never seen someone lose the ball from dribbling more than Troy Brown in a halfcourt set.

What is this lineup? Is Scott Brooks trying to lose? Why are we not playing a center? Why are Beal and Satoransky and Porter sitting? Why is Randle on the roster? What am I watching?

Bryant and Sato are just killing it. I can’t wait untill Otto is 100% and all 3 of them are out there together. Troy Brown is showing major promise as well in his feel for the game and ability to initiate offense.

Has Trevor Ariza always been this selfish? Or is this contract year mode

Just really checking the box scores to see how Thomas Bryant is doing. About the only bright spot of this season. We’ll probably lose him for nothing since we so strapped for cash.

For those that have been paying more attention this season (God Bless You), does he have the makings to be our Center for years to come and a good one at that?

Watch EG trade Bryant for cash

He’s restricted. They should match any offer. Also he is bound by the Gilbert Arenas rule for 2nd round picks with less than 3 years of experience.
Meaning... no one can offer him more than MLE salary for year 1. 4.5% increase in year 2.
In short, we should keep him and stretch Mahinmi:

No doubt Thomas is the bright spot this year. If Dwight opts in we only have about $20m to spend under luxury tax just paying six guys, not counting 2019 first rounder. Bryant and Sato might cost $10m/yr for both? May have to stretch Ian to field a team.

Beal knows that they need to lose this game.

Yeah, some of the decisions he's made in the 3rd quarter have been mind-boggling - either stupid or selfish - probably both. We have Bryant and Sato and Green and Ariza playing team ball, and Beal seems to think he's better than the team. He isn't, and it's embarrassing to watch.

Well, Randle is obviously not an NBA point guard - I'd rather have Chiozza playing for the Wiz - no matter how small he is. At this point, I don't think Dekker is a keeper. He reacts a half step too slow. Compare him to Sato - Dekker just don't have the reaction time that most NBA athletes have. And his shooting is just too eratic.

Bryant is certainly a work in progress on defense. He’s only 21 so there is hope.

Shooting has been a problem. I think he is playing on a badly sprained ankle which is really noticeable that he must have injured recently. His movements are not fluid and he can barely run the floor today. He's taken some really odd shots today. I think we should wait and see what he can do while Morris is out.

His QO is almost $4m, I certainly don’t see us doing that.

I think you're giving him an excuse he doesn't deserve. He looks perfectly fine running the court to me. Everyone plays with some aches and pains.
Overall, win/lose/draw... this is a truly ugly game.

Atlanta finally managed to tie the game and then Wiz go on a 8-0 run.
Seems like Brown is getting only 5 minutes tonight. **** you Brooks.
Edit: Well, a terrific way to finish the game. I can't complain! Still terrible to see all starters playing 36+ mins.

I'm in Arizona & can't see the game.
How can Brown only get 5 minutes? Is this a playoff game, Scott?
