Scott Brooks needs to follow up last night's valiant effort from the bench by rewarding both Jordan McCrae and Gary Payton II with first-off-the-bench minutes tonight vs. the Pacers.
The Wizards' have missed players with that streetball scrappiness, I realized that last night.

I'm going to the game - rooting for the good guys... I mean rooting for the Wizards. Trap game. Actually, if I was a sports betting man (I'm not), I'd take the Wiz vs the spread. I've never tracked it, but it seems like the home end of a back to back after a loss... home team usually bounces back. Hope McRae and the rest of the young'ns play a lot in a blowout win.

McRae's not a young-un, btw. In 8 weeks he'll turn 28.
For that matter, GPII is 26.
Who cares? Between the 2 of them they had 20 minutes of incredible play last night. So yeah -- first off the bench! Actually... start 'em!

Whoever is matched up with Beal needs to see a dermi...sheesh.

I really like Dekker's role on this team when he plays. If Morris does in fact come back it would be a shame to see Dekker fall out of the rotation

It really is amazing how Dekker, a guy with no discernible basketball skills, manages to be so effective simply by playing hard.

T.J. Leaf, another poster boy for somebody who should have stayed in school at least one more year.

This is painful listening to the announcing crew try and argue that Beal has been as impressive as Harden. C'mon now. Beal is good and all, but let's be reasonable here.

I would think Mahinmi falls out of the rotation but sure, Dekker might see less time. It seems like he's a guy that will have nagging injuries because he plays so hard but he has found a niche as a hustle guy and decent defender off the bench. If he could only make 35% of his threes...

Man, everything going right for the Wizards right now. Even Mahinmi is hitting difficult low post jump hooks.

That's why I watch Buck and Kara.

Any minutes that Morris plays will come at the expense of players playing better than him. If we can't trade Morris, the best thing we could do is cut him.

It was Buck and Kara. They brought in what's his name, the sideline reporter guy and that's what he was saying.

Is it me, or does McRae look a bit like Gilbert Arenas?

Oh come on. It's Chris Miller. I don't pay attention to anything he says. He's a shill for the team.

If they want to make the playoffs, they should cut him if they can't trade him. If they want to tank, he'll go back to playing 20-25 mpg off the bench playing alongside Green and Dekker. The guy you'll never see will be Troy Brown, esp. if McRae starts playing.
