That significantly increases the chances we do the thing that cannot be named (by Ted or Beal), and make smart trades to get under the lux tax and maybe pick up some assets for Ariza and Green.
Nevermind, Ernie is still GM.

Trae's fave player growing up was Nash and he has acknowledged modeling his game after the Canadian sensation.
Collins is just a high flying, high scoring, no-defense playing big completely dependent on his star PG to get him easy buckets.
It's a comparison that Haw fans have oddly embraced.
Ruzious wrote:Meh, I'd say Collins - now that he makes 3's - helps his PG as much as his PG helps him. And Young ain't exactly a defensive Wiz himself. With the 2 of them there, that's a very bad defensive team. Defense wasn't a strong suit of Nash's either, but he was remarkable efficient. Trae is going to have to cut down on the shot-chucking to be more like Nash. Then again, he's very young, and it took Nash a few seasons and a change of coaches to become a great player.

Those comps have been floating around since before the draft.
Huerter is gonna be good. But I agree the Klay comps are clearly wishful thinking.
