Beal having a nightmare first quarter.

Thought that jump stop wasn't a travel.

Sam Dekker is good player. I really hope we keep him.

To be honest you guys have a better shot at making playoffs than getting anything significant in the draft with your record.

Ariza's having a brutally bad game, while Marvin Williams - who has basically the same role - is the best player this game.

Troy Brown seems to always make the right decisions in transition.

Troy Brown has been playing really well for the past couple of games. He's really improved in the gleague.

Willie Hernangomez is a stud - might be the most under-utilized player in the NBA.

Wiz are getting tremendous production from the center position.

Ariza has been horrible all game long. Dekker was great when he played but never saw minutes really past the first half.

The Wizards have actually played very well today. Beal just happened to have a terrible shooting night. It hasn't happened very often for Beal lately, but the man is human.

Hopefully, the Wizards will hang on for the tank loss. Losing this is would almost surely clinch a lottery birth.

Beal's defense has been remarkable tonight. He's 4-18 from the field but has made up for it with 5 steals and a block, plus a couple of deflections.

Phew! Almost won that one. We escaped with a loss.

Also, Beal got mugged on that final shot. There was enough body contact to send him reeling.

Probably the worst officiating I have seen in a very long time.

We're 3 games behind Charlotte with only 17 games to go. And they now have the tiebreaker so we're effectively 4 games back.

And Charlotte isn't even the 8th seed right now.

It's over. We will be in the lottery. It looks like Dallas is going to out-tank us but I'm not so sure about the Pelicans. They'll probably finish with a slightly better record. That would leave us with the 8th position in the lottery, with a possibility of falling to 9th behind New Orleans.

Meh, the officials never call that on a last shot situation. The real travesty there was Marvin Williams grabbing Portis' arm when he was getting the rebound. Otherwise, it probably would have been a put-back.

Beal was... terrible in the last minute or so. He inexplicably let the ball hit him when he was out of bounds and the ball last touched by Lamb. Next Wiz possession, he forces a terrible shot for no apparent reason. Next Wiz possession, he misses an open 3. And then the last possession, he misses badly.

Jeremby Lamb made 2 key blocks near the end - he's a real solid player with tremendous length. Just needs to be more consistent with the 3 ball.

Ariza... just terrible expecially compared to Marvin Williams. Why is Ariza still playing over 30 minutes every game? His calling card offensively is his 3 ball, and he's making only 31.7%.

Anyway, great tank, and great to see Brown play well.

In other news, Otto Porter has 18-6-3 on 9 total shots
