Sato playing the 3

Could Tomas Satoranksy play as a SF? He's 6'7 in shoes. He's got something of a 3 pt shot - 39% on limited attempts (2/game). He obviously has a handle and passing skills. To my mind, the question is defensively - would he get overpowered or outsized (particularly wingspan)? Can he board well enough?

Could he. I'm leaning yes. Would he, probably not. He insists he's a point guard.

He can defend 3s fine. He's got it stuck in his head he's only a PG despite the NBA trending towards guys playing multiple positions and the fact his best attribute is his versatility.

Yes, he started over Oubre when Wall was still healthy and the Wizards were less terrible.

Satoransky started at least 5 games when Wall/Beal were healthy this season.

He was more willing to play the 3 this past season. In 2017-18, he was a little more stubborn about it.
