Have you guys discussed how the DOJ changed its charges on Assange from breaking the law by helping hack information, to actually just charging him for publishing classified information (which, in case you don't know, is what professional journalists do for a living), even though he committed no other crime. The charges against Assange are a direct assault on the first amendment and the press.
Even if you, like me, hate Assange's guts and blame him for the dumpster fire we're going through right now, this is very, very wrong.

Surprised this isn’t getting covered more.

You know you’re absolute **** when you get owned by Johnathan **** Swan of all people lol. And the reason he won’t answer is that he knows the Trump campaigned engaged in unethical and borderline illegal behaviour. It’s a pretty obvious self own.

Agreed doubly concerning if Barr is behind it. It reminds me a little of the sham excuse of the Clinton email case for the Comey firing. Start off with something that looks like would be someone with a conflict, then move on to using it to your benefit.

It's all stupid, it's all so damn stupid.
When you have adults unquestionably following and believing whatever nonsense the orange disaster vomits out on a given day, how can there be any hope?
This fool is out there talking about his climate being clean as evidenced by how clear the lakes are.
How can you be ok with the man in charge being demonstrably stupid?
Well, you know, you just said it. China, India, Russia, many other nations, they have not very good air. Not very good water, in the sense of pollution and cleanliness. If you go to certain cities — I’m not going to name cities, but I can — if you go to certain cities, you can’t even breathe. And now that air is going up. So, if we have a clean — in terms of a planet, we’re talking about a very small distance between China and the U.S. or other countries.
In what world do you read this and go, yup, coherent and sharp, no wonder he is president elect.

Eugene Robinson has some choice words about that today.
“I believe that there’s a change in weather, and I think it changes both ways,” Trump told “Good Morning Britain” host Piers Morgan in an interview broadcast Wednesday. “Don’t forget it used to be called global warming. That wasn’t working. Then it was called climate change. Now it’s actually called extreme weather, because with extreme weather, you can’t miss.”
Good Lord, it’s breathtaking that anyone could pack so much ignorance into so few words.

I'm very, very, very much rooting for idiot Trump to insist on slapping a 5% tariff on Mexican goods. The delicious, delicious irony of Trump single handedly destroying the US economy, thus leading him and all his co-conspirators to get kicked out of office, because the GOP was too cowardly to stand up to Trump's violation of one of their CORE PRINCIPLES... C'MON TRUMP THIS WOULD BE GREAT REALITY TV DO IT DO IT DO IT

On one hand I am glad, he didn't do something so damaging to the economy.
OTOH I am sure he will find something equal bad, but more subtle.
One good thing about this possible misstep, is the problems would have been obvious quickly and the blame to Trump would be clear.

This is such wonderful news. We are truly blessed to have Trump's son-in-law running our foreign policy. #MAGA

I can't believe how hard I'm rooting for a recession. Now that's privilege for you - I have a govt job and live in a region that is largely recession proof, so I can afford to do it.
