Technically it is financially possible.

Fit, to me seems good. A team friendly player who cam defend, shoot and handle the ball would be a good add for your team.

And on value, well thats why I asked and didnt presume.

Explain how an over the cap team can just add 20M in payroll?

You are not over the cap in the offseason.

What is it your team would be looking to improve at? Not necessarily a celtic, but just in regards to overall talent upgrade for your roster?

...It's hard to say what we'd want in return without knowing what the offer is. What did you have in mind?

Not sure. Celtics have pieces that could add up, give a little youth to you as well.

Kanter, and either Edward, Poirier and #26
or
Kanter and Romeo Langford and a second work salary wise.

Don't you have a rusty old car you could add to that? :)

Kanter is of no interest, Poirer is of no interest, Edwards is of no interest. Langford? Your R2 pick is #47.

Tell me, would you trade Bryant for this platter of nullitude?

Bryant, Brown Jr and #9

Good heavens man! Now you want the #9 & Brown too if we take Hayward off your hands?

Please suggest some significant assets in return for Bryant, who is a significant asset.

I am not anything in the offseason. The Wizards organization otoh, has 11 players under contract for 103M. With a cap number of about 110M, that would leave us about 7M under the cap with no draft pick, no MLE, no BAE, and no Bertans.

So yeah... the wiz are not able to make that trade, nor would they given the assets they give up and the opportunity cost.
The MLE could be gold in an offseason where with a cap crunch.
So its Hayward + 26 for:
Bryant, Brown, 9, Bertans, and two FAs (Nerlens Noel/WCS + Denzel Valentine/Pat Connaughton)

Easy pass

So you agree it is a horrible trade but we could do it... so, is that an easy pass or a hard pass?
