Ian Mahinmi is out with a strained right Achilles tendon.

Mahinmi will be treated conservatively before being re-evaluated in six weeks.

A strained achilles for an NBA player... eh, he'll be fine. Wiz world title hopes are still in tact... in a galaxy far far away.

Anyway, that's not what got Achilles -- the gods were against him.

Be nice if no one else gets injured during TC!

I would think its a more Fake injury. Save a roster sport for someone else not milking the clock for a bunch of money?????

?? Mahinmi has a guaranteed contract. We could cut him (& owe him his money of course) or trade him. But calling him "injured" when he's not wouldn't provide any kind of help.

I hate to be a downer. But I think the Wiz have no chance for a championship this year if Ian is out for an extended period of time.
