Hot dang we have a basketball game, someone do some fancy charts and things

It's a bummer that Troy Brown is hurt. I'm really looking forward to seeing him.

For now, my biggest reason to watch is Hachimura, of course. I'm also curious to see who steps up at small forward in the absence of Brown and Miles. Will it be Justin Anderson, Jemerrio Jones or Admiral Schofield?

I figure Justin Robinson will get some burn at PG with Isaiah out. That will be interesting.

Overall, I expect pretty sloppy play. There will only be 3 guys in uniform who were on the team last year (Beal, Bryant and McRae) and just about everyone else is extremely young and inexperienced. The Knicks also has a pretty new roster, but it's full of veterans who have been around a while and presumably will be quicker at picking up the Knicks' system.

Any cable cutters here? Looking for the best way to watch this season now that Reddit got closed-down

Great question -- the only reason I haven't gotten rid of cable is that I could come up with no way to watch the Wizards (didn't know anything about Reddit streaming!)

Very interesting.

It doesn't surprise me that Anderson is starting at SF because if both Hachimura and Bertans start at forward, there's nobody to handle the backup minutes at PF. What does surprise me is Hachimura starting over Bertans. Brooks doesn't like to start rookies. Hachimura must really have earned it.

Unsurprisingly this team has no identity. It makes the injuries that much more frustrating. The team is going to change very significantly once everyone gets healthy.

Rui looks nice though, good defensive positioning, got scored on a couple of times but the finishes were tough
