GT #2: Bullets @ Seattle Supersonics 8 PM (NBCSW/1500 AM)

YOUR Washington Bullets are 0-1 with their new look roster full of young guys and cast offs!

As the lost season gets underway, Bradley Beal is coming off a terrible shooting night. Thomas Bryant seems to favor flash over substance, Rui looks to be a steady player and maybe even a fun guy, and we have midget PGs who will get abused on a nightly basis!

The Sonics have Chris Paul, the master, and SGA, the student, starting together in the backcourt. It's going to get real ugly especially with OKC's big men.

CP3 Masterpiece?

To be fair it should be winnable game for Wiz if they play together.
CP3 and Gilgeous-Alexander played quite well together vs Jazz.

Ayton suspended 25 games one of lottery teams started their tank eaaaaarly. Oh dear Suns... you had one job.

No McRae? Had a surgery on his right index finger I think. Maybe we'll see a lot of Matthews?

This one SHOULD be more winnable but CP3 is no slouch and SGA is a good player. Protecting the boards will be key.

Adams is coming off possibly the worst game I've ever seen him play. Not sure if we should expect a bounce back or continued struggle. We've got no answer to defend beal. However we do have a lowkey secret weapon no on is talking about-

This is quite nasty looking when taken as a whole:

What does it mean for playoff seeding? Will it come back to bite us?

Miles can't possibly be our starting3. Make that Brown -- in which case, with the exception of the awfulness of Ish, at least potentially it's a good starting unit (i.e. depending on how Brown/Rui perform).

If Bonga & McRae play at the level of the Mavs game, Bertans returns to his norm, IT can play & stay healthy... why then, that will be a whole bunch of "if" turning out right...! :)

Can we hold off to posting stats until at least 5 games have been played?

We’re better (marginally) at one position against a team that purposely sold off most of its assets for future value.

OKC is positioned to build a juggernaut over the next five years.

We have Bradley Beal, a handful of semi useful assets and the largest collection of coaches/assistants/nutritionists/analysts etc ever assembled.

We’re just missing, you know, players and draft picks and a good coach and cap room.

Ohhh, it's gonna end just like the 1979 finals when we got beat by Gus "The WIZARD" Williams, young Dennis Johnson and Jack Sikma. Woe are le Bullet.

True - the depth chart isn't quite right, but I meant the gestalt of the injuries.

If Bonga & McRae play at the level of the Mavs game, Bertans returns to his norm, IT can play & stay healthy... why then, that will be a whole bunch of "if" turning out right...! :)

It's a fine collection of candied nuts indeed, but one of them is right off the 'if list' and is now firmly established as not happening: McRae is out.

We've got:

Smiss / Chiozza / Robinson
Beal / (backup point guards?)
Bonga / Schonfeld / (power forwards sliding down)

That's just an absolutely abysmal collection of perimeter players right there. It's so bad that even Miles getting back would be met with rejoicing.

Listen, and understand. Dulcer is out there. It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until the game thread is up.

Seriously, though - Ducler's a bot. Talking to Ducler is like whispering sweet nothings to a vibrator.
