YOUR Washington Bullets are 2-5 AND that's just about where we expected them to be, right?

They lost again in Indiana to a short-handed Pacers squad. But then again, the Bullets never seem to win there.

The defense is atrocious. Though we have seen the insertion of CJ Miles and Troy Brown this week. But it seems Scott Brooks is going to keep Brown and Bonga glued to the bench for the veteran.

The Cleveland Cavaliers come into town with their young backcourt and cast of veterans from their 2018 ECF Champion team. I don't know what to make of them. But, watch Cedi Osman and Kevin Love kill us tonight.

It's GO-GO NIGHT at Capital One Arena after the game. So if you're heading down, the concert may be the highlight of the night. :P

Really dislike Isiah in the starting lineup for multiple reasons. No D, and taking shots away from players who need the opportunities to learn.

This really feels like a must win game to me. If we're going to be a halfway competent, 30-win team rather than an 18-win laughingstock, we have to beat the bad teams at home. There are only a handful of teams out there that we get to characterize as "bad", given how bad we are. Cleveland is one of them.

It's worth noting that every one of our losses this season was to a team that is currently .500 or better. Objectively speaking, we haven't been a horrible basketball team. We aren't good enough to beat good teams, but we have beaten the two mediocre teams that we have faced (Detroit who is 4-5 and OKC who are 3-5). Losing to Cleveland would suggest that we are horrible.

Like others I am not a fan of Bonga starting. Brown should be starting.

One complication is that Brown is our only backup SG. We need him on the floor when Beal sits. Brown is the only other guy capable of being a secondary ball handler while still having the size to guard wings. It's hard to give Brown a lot of minutes at starting SF while also having him in the game as the backup 2.

I think Brooks is handling the issue by starting Bonga for the first 4 or 5 minutes and then bringing in Brown. I'm not too concerned as long as Troy gets 25+ minutes a night. (He only got 17 minutes against Indy, though. I missed the 2nd half so I don't know why.)

Time to rise and shine ladies and gentlemen. This is our only (real) National televised game.

I wouldn't quite call this a must win game. After we loose 5 in a row, then we are faced with a must win game. Right now, we'd just like to win. A fun offensive explosion with globetrotters defense would be interesting. What we must do is give the young guns some good burn.

When ESPN's front page on a Friday night with 11 games leads with "How the Cleveland Cavaliers' Lindsay Gottlieb made it to the NBA," it suggests that someone just might have screwed up with selecting the nationally televised game.

Seriously, Wizards vs. Cavs for a national broadcast? What were they thinking?

Troy Brown getting the start, it's too bad that it won't be at PG.

Troy Brown gets the start. Announced by NBC Sports Washington.
Rui getting some more attention from ESPN. Pregame interview with Doris.

Injury report, always a good reminder that Mahinmi is still with the team.

I'd start Brown at PG and insert Bertans into the starting lineup as SF.

WTF happened to Beal this year? He has been terrible! He can't shoot 3's and he can't dribble.
