This is one reason why I think the team is better than it's record. If we had Sato instead of IT I think we would be .500 or better. IT won't be here next year and might be gone before the trade deadline.
Only 1 team in the conference has a worse record than us. However 6 teams in the east have a worse point differential than our -2.1.

A near perfect tank command squad. With IT as the general Patton. Fun to watch on offense. Sure to lose unless we outgun the opponent on a hot night.

And playing IT with Bertans at the end of close games is a tankalankadingdong defensive tactic. We saw them both get used by Fultz on his game-clinching basket after steal against Orlando.

Hmm, I could sell those from my Rui-nation.com website (which is a thing, btw, that I've done nothing with).

Orders are through the roof - though I'd prefer them through the mail or internet. They make great stocking stuffers - but not great as t-shirts. <rimshot>

I'm afraid that kitten will fall down if I do something. Did I forget to mention I'm the world's biggest procrastinator? Well, I would be except I keep putting off crastinating.

The Warriors had a terrible defense in 11-12, then had a top 10 defense for the rest of the decade. Of course they added Draymond and Iggy. Defense will be terrible this year, IT or no IT, but one draft pick and one free agent could make us top 15.

“Dissecting” the Wizards’ defense. Isn’t that what each of our opponents has been doing so far?

This.
Im loving IT right now. Once of the few players that can increase production /trade value while leading a tank. LOL
Wall, Beal, Brown, Rui, Bryant, Wagner, Bonga, Admiral, and Robinson have actually all shown to be average or better defenders at one time or another. So Im not worried long term.
We are losing games because Wall isnt playing, we are playing a ton of young players, and IT kills us on defense. All short term problems.
Wall will come back and at least be competent as a starter.... Possibly even are solid 3rd piece.
Brown, Wagner, Rui, and Bryant are all NBA caliber scorers despite their youth with quite a bit of upside.
Lead the tank IT... Ill buy a jersey if you can get us a draft pick at the deadline and lead us to a top 6 pick in the same season.

Every other team in the league are licking their chops when they see the Wizards on the schedule. Everyone gets a season or career high.

Always easy decide on your fantasy starters when you see WSH as opponent.
My squad features Simmons and Embiid so I expect big tings today.
