Sad part they will try to find a way to drop 110 and give up 120 to the Knicks. EH?

Anyways I like the Knicks broadcast they are tops in the league albeit a dreadful team. May even watch this cluster **** (thats the Knicks).

I wouldn't be surprised if the offense grinds to a halt tonight. They managed to execute pretty well as the injuries piled up, but losing Bertans is the last straw. Without his spacing and ability to draw defensive attention, it's going to get ugly.

They're going to load up on Beal and force someone else to beat them. Ish is the only other guy who can create a shot.

Please make some foul shots. 2 for 8 is not good

The Knicks truly have to be seen to be believed. Aimless passing, befuddled by a zone, don’t get back on defense, unfettered access to rim. It’s even worse than had been reported.

Of course they may beat us at half strength, but not based on effort.

And I’d rather have GP2 on this team than IT.

Beal needs to stop with the wild hero-ball drives at the end of quarters. But everything else about this team is fun to watch, esp. unheard-of folks like Payton II and Pasecniks putting in work.

Can we please get rid of Isiah Thomas for more than just the two-game suspension? Anybody else they put on the floor, including Robinson and Chiozza, has been less frustrating to watch play defense.

You cannot stop Anžejs Pasečņiks, you can only hope to contain him.

I've never posted a box score mid game. All these years ...

I didn't even know there was a game. I see right now the Wizards' tank is not quite as strong as that of the Knicks. Will take a quick glance at the box score; then, I'm gonna look for a live stream. (Thanks againo Mojo).

Gary Payton II is the best PG the Wizards have had not named John Wall.

How he hasn't stuck in the league so far is mind-boggling to me.

Min FG 3pt FT Off Def Reb Ast TO Stl Blk PF +/- Pts
Gary Payton II 26:12 3-7 1-1 1-2 4 5 9 5 1 5 0 2 17 8

This stat line, with 8 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 steals, PLUS 17, and only 1 turnover reminds me of players like Andrei Kirilenko and Sidney Moncrief.

He also reminds me of players from yesteryear, John Starks and Mario Elie. They didn't initially stick in the NBA as draft picks. They toiled in the minor league before becoming good NBA players.
