I’d try the Mitten on Murray right now. Let’s see if he can truly be a stopper

yes, a little bit. I think he's been lifting. Also, I dont think his body has completely filled out yet. Late bloomer, maybe.

Watching the game now (recorded). This is quite good. TB is playing well. Hope he can string a few games together that are like this. Bonga is also doing well, as is Ish. I really like what I am seeing today.

This team is just so much fun to follow. And so full of promise.

Ish was incredible, yes. But also Troy Brown — what a game! (If only he could always play against Denver.) Pasecniks was active and played good D and is showing some real athleticism. The guy is a find. Another find. This team is full of ‘em — full of finds. Johnathan Williams gave them some terrific D inside tonight, some tough rebounding, and hit shots when needed. His interior presence = something new for the team this year. I thought he was a very good complement to Pasecniks. Not an explosive night for Garrison Mathews, but if you want to use that now-trendy word “gravity,” look at how he stretched the floor on EVERY possession. Remarkable for a rookie. Jordan McRae wasn’t on fire the way he was last night, but I liked his timely scoring and his length tonight. Isaac Bonga: 5 of 6, and he pushed the pace, rebounded, passed well, and defended.

They just beat the second-best team in the West. Emphatically.

And they did this without John Wall. Without Bradley Beal. Without Davis Bertāns. Without Rui Hachimura. Without Thomas Bryant. Without THEIR ENTIRE STARTING LINEUP from the beginning of the season.

(Note to the churls: I’m not saying they’re a good team. Not yet. They’re up and then they’re down. But there are glimpses of something exciting and durable.)

Tommy Sheppard is looking incredibly good. Not just his ability to find diamonds in the rough. Not just his shrewdness in stealing guys. Not just his canny scouring of the Int’l market. But the new culture. The sense I have watching that there is a system in place, and one that extends all the way down to the farm team. And the energy and joy all around these guys. The future is BRIGHT.
