Like when Prince died I went into denial, and immediately searched the news sites, it’s true...the perils of having a private helicopter.

It said 5 people were with him. I hope it wasn't like his whole family too. **** that's terrible !

Kobe was an unbelievable player, but also a really well rounded person.

So much of his life was in front of him. I’m wrecked.

It is worth mentioning that this is very close to the 60th anniversary of when the Lakers team plane crashed (or more precisely, emergency landed) in Iowa (1/17/1960) in a cornfield with players including Elgin Baylor and Hot Rod Hundley. Miraculously they all survived that night, and sadly, not the case today.

Damn! Kobe starred on the court and was starring in his post-NBA career. Loved that about him.

Apparently his daughter was with him.

So weird, Right before I took a long nap today in front of the tv, I heard huge praises from Lebron of Kobe - celebrating Lebron catching Kobe for 3rd place in the all-time scoring list. And literally the first thing I hear when I wake up is Kobe died. I'm 99% sure I'm awake but there's the 1% doubt that not totally believing it's real - even after checking the internet. Seems so bizarre - It feels like a Twilight Zone episode where someone gets tired of hearing about Kobe and off-handedly says I wish he was dead - and then it happens - like Billy Mummy playing the rotten kid that can wish away anyone. So stunning and so sad.

This website ain't what it used to be confirmed. 17 posts? SMH
