This is embarrassing. I'm starting to have a real issue with Beal. This terrible Bulls team is a team we should beat.

Enough is enough. Bertans just blocks out and doesn't even move to try to for the defensive rebound on a FT - Bulls get another easy score. I mean... wtf? And he hasn't played defense the entire game. Nobody has on the Wiz. It's ridiculous. This isn't watchable. The whole team and coaching staff must be braindead. And why was the only good defender on the team - Bonga - in for less than a minute?

You forgot the other good defender: Mahinmi.

The Wizards were +1 in the 6 minutes that Mahinmi and Bonga were in the game together. They were -16 in the 18 minutes without them.

It doesn't help that the Bulls are shooting 12-22 from 3-point range (including a half court heave).

That's as bad as Bertans has looked on both ends of the floor. Coby White found a game all of a sudden and we're not finding him on the floor. Awful, but it's still Tanks-giving.

Yeah, the utterly incompetent defense has become unbearable.

I'd be in favor of replacing the coach next season. This team has developed too many bad habits on defense and they're going to need someone new to fix it.

It was forgivable when IT got so much time, Hachimura was a raw rookie, and our center tandem was Bryant and Wagner. But now that IT is gone, Hachimura has gotten his bearings, and Bonga and Mahinmi are getting minutes, the defense should no longer be worst-in-history bad.

Issac bonga is 54/40/80 in his splits this season, he’s too big for most guards and small wings and can’t attack...he needs to become more of a focal point

I wouldn't call Mahinmi good defensively - just good in comparison to the others. Rui was playing center for a few minutes with Bertans at PF - just a ridiculously awful combination.

I wouldn't go THAT far. Bonga has no skills on offense. He shoots good percentages because he only shoots when WIDE open. He is absolutely not capable of creating offense for himself.

He should get more minutes though. But because he defends, not because he's an offensive threat.

Issac definitely has a capable handle and he doesn’t shoot much half of his attempts are at the rim...he has some guard skills in him, so I’m not sure what you mean he can’t create

Game got a bit out of control just then. Rui misses a pass to a red hot Bertans in the corner then Bonga misses a wide open corner 3. Both would’ve cut the lead to 6 and pressured Chicago.
