Game 57: WIZ (20-36) vs NETS (26-30) Wed, 2/26 @ 7PM

Brooklyn has played pretty well without Kyrie, winning 5 of their last 8 including wins against Toronto and Indy, and an overtime loss against Philly. They had a disappointing game on Monday, losing to Orlando after being up 20.

The Wiz have lost 3 straight including two horrible outings against Chicago and Cleveland. They might be pretty close to giving up hope for the playoffs.

Can Beal break 50 three games in a row?

We need a win against the nets tonight to hang in to this play off dream. We can't keep dropping games we need to catch up in a hurry. These next 6 games are key. This is a winnable game. We have a tough one against the jazz 2 days from now and then we have a stretch of 4 games we should absolutely win. If we can pull a 6 game swing here we might gain some ground on Orlando .

Bryant will be back tonight. Bertans is questionable, I'd be surprised if he plays.

Who else knew/didn't know about realgm's game preview feature, which is located under scores?

EVERY game has some preview info before AND has advanced stats available after games if you're into that sort of "kinkiness". I associate geeks with freaks. Stat geek<-->stat freak. Analogous or similar like alternatives of the same word in a thesaurus.

IF I KNEW HOW, I could probably screen capture and post more stuff in a visual/picture is worth a thousand words format.

I'm real curious how Brooklyn (26-30) @ Washington (20-36) will go down...

I heard this repeated just the other day:

"The best ability is availability".

Based on THIS: https://basketball.realgm.com/nba/preview/2020-02-26/Brooklyn-at-Washington/340217

I would say Washington should be about a 1-point favorite. First team to 116 probably wins.

Nice - I did not know that was there. But they don't tell us what the final score will be.

Hey, the Wiz took the Bucks to OT, so it's a given that they'll beat Brooklyn.

Dinwiddie's become a good player. If he can get his 3 point shooting up to a good percentage, he'd be all-star quality.

I loved Dinwiddie's game when he was Colorado or his rookie year with Toronto.

Reminded me of the very first I saw of New York Knicks Trevor Ariza (before his contributing to a Laker championship team).

Dinwiddie and Robert Covington are examples of not so overnight or instant success. SOME CAN SEE IT COMING LIKE I DID WHEN I MET Zach Randolph at Pete Newell's back in like 2001 or 2002.

All I recall is at time Z Bo was known for punching a teammate. NOBODY seemed to be high on him but I recall wanting Randolph, Battier, and Troy Murphy from the Kwame draft. NOTHING IN HIS STATS as a rookie discouraged or dissuaded my thinking he could play. (Undersized PF era CCJ). JUST LIKE BEN WALLACE of the Bullets ... some do not foresee what a player might become.

I remember being APOPLECTIC MAD when the Wizards traded Big Ben and Legler et al for big Ike Austin.... :(

Dinwiddie was a baller from the start and Toronto's peeps know that. RIGHT NOW I would easily take SGA (Gilgeous-Alexander) over Wall and probably over Beal, too, all things considered. Money projection and actual value. SGA is going to make the Clippers look really stupid if they don't do really well with Kawhi Leonard. He and Dinwiddie are/were diamonds in the rough.

We have to win this one...

Napier starting over Ish. This might be our best all around starting lineup.

I have to say, I think at the current moment, Ian Mahinmi is our best center. I'm glad he starts. His defense makes our team credible defensively.

Bertans is just plain fun to watch. Meanwhile, Jerome Robinson may be the worst player to ever suit up for the Wizards and that is saying A LOT.

So tune in won't let me listen to the game with out a premium sub which is 100 a year and Comcast spots net won't let me stream it because it's not included in my cable package. FML game cast it is.

No Brown JR for first quarter.

He must be hurt or in the dog house. Bonga is back in at SF.
