Nah. At this point I’d role with Heineke and Allen. Let’s see what happens in the draft, but I think we could end up with a starting CB or MLB, an interior LB and a decent WR.
Spend some money on someone like Lavonte David from TB or Okung.
Keep building the team... if Heineke is a straight flush, we’re set. If not, get a QB next year.
In Rizzo we trust

Like yeah build the team I don't wanna waste a top round 4 draft pick on a QB this year. But , I don't see any harm adding a young free agent or a stop gap to compete or back up the ones we have.

There's a lot of QB's in this draft. Some better than others obviously, but I think there's a good chance someone interesting will fall to the 4th round, which is prime position for a QB stash.

Najee harris might be the best running back in the draft ? If he falls to us do we take him? Or do we stick with the play to get another WR or OL?

He and Etienne seem like absolute studs, but great RB's seem to slide farther than they're slotted by the draft experts. I would not pick a RB in the 1st round. Remember, we also need a LBer and could use a DB and a TE - along with the aforementioned WR and OL.

Any opinions on Darnold for a 2nd round pick?

Personally, I would not do that. I think he's too damaged from being a Jet. That could change in the future, but he's got to prove it, imo.

Maybe a 4th and a 5th next year but not a 2.

Dak got paid - to say the least. Actually the most. 160 million over 4 years. 126 million guaranteed. 66 million signing bonus - biggest in NFL history. And he's good, but he's not great. This is why it's so valuable to get a top QB in the draft - where you'll control his salary for his first 5 years.

I could see offering one of our thirds. But no more.

Scherff gets franchised again - for 18 mil. That's just not smart for a guard. The franchise tag computation for all O-lineman is the same, so going that way means we're paying him what the top tackles get. They can still sign him to a long-term contract. I hope they do so. Otherwise, trade him. Or sign a cheaper guard. He's good, but it's much more important to get good play from a LT.

Cam signed with NE so we won't have to worry about over paying him.

I think 182.5 mil is what was expected. It's already in spotrac.com. Looks like the Skins still have 26 mil - even after committing 18 mil to Scherff.

Nearly 2.5 mil for a below average kicker? Well, at least it's just a 1 year deal.
