The Big O does not hand out praise lightly. He's often like the grumpy old man telling current players to get off his lawn. It's a big deal that he was effusive with praise for Russ.


Oscar looks good and seems to be really taking very good care of himself. He cannot be that much younger than Bill Russell but he seemed like it from what I saw on TV most recently.

I love Russ, but I admit to yelling at him through my TV when he had that turnover in the final minute in game 1 against Philly.

Also, he definitely wasn't playing like he some sort of long-standing beef with Embiid. The intensity just seemed a lot less than what we've seen out of peak Russ this season.

Love Westbrook. I did notice the subtle dig at Leonsis, not acknowledging that we have the best urinal cakes in the league.

What are you talking about? Didn't he call the Wizards a "stand-up" organization? What else would he have been referring to?
