GT #8:Washington Wizards @ Philadelphia 76ers 1/6/2021 7:00PM

Post#1 » by nate33 » Mon Jan 4, 2021 2:44 pm

Our Washington Wizards, having convincingly demonstrated that they routinely eat All-NBA players for breakfast, head into Philly for another meal. Simmons and Embiid are on the menu and it's going to be delicious.

The Wizards should win this one easily. The only question is whether or not we will see Anžejs "victory cigar" Pasečņiks.

Excellent work on the "ž" -- that's a winner's move.

I'm getting tired of all the winning around here. :clown:

Which is about as close as I can get to baiting Nate to pop back into the Politics thread to take his lumps and move on, all friends here. :D

KD out 4 games for COVID protocol. 2nd opponent Wizards have had get shut down immediately after playing them. Wizards have been lucky so far!

Staying undefeated. This is the game for Beal to go off.

Wow..this is very encouraging!

Clearly the 2nd unit and the 3 PG line-up is the problem. Can someone call Brooks and tell him? or even better fire him and get a proper coach (Atkinson would do)

When these people cherry pick stats, why don't they cherry pick the ones that actually matter?

How about using point differential...that's a helluva lot more useful than pace and PPG.

Seems pretty simple - play them 48 minutes a game, and win every game in 2021. Oh, and most importantly - nate's gotta start every game thread.

It helps when one of their games was vs the Wolves, a team that seems ready to hit the reset button.

Predicting playoff sweep when playing that lineup 48 minutes. Just saying... I don't think your post is going to age well :D

Let's hope there is a miracle and Bonga sees the light of the day. So far this season and in limited minutes he is looking good compared to peers (and unlike Troy and Robinson)

Not a huge fan of TPA, but same thing is indicated with the numbers, Brown/Ish/Lopez/Robinson have all been horrible.

Brooks made some really stupid comments when asked why Robinson was in the rotation. Basically said they have enough offense, need someone to defend and hit a spot up shot.

3pt%:
Robinson: 33%
Brown Jr: 35.7%
Bonga: 55.6%

Obviously, Bonga is a better defender than Robinson.

I'm sure the guy's can handle playing all the minutes -- but, it's really asking a lot of nate!
