Mitchell Robinson fractured right hand. Wow. Hey, do you want Robin Lopez?

Just understand, this is what a Beal-less team would look like. It's important not to take for granted a guy getting 33 points a night on an almost 60% TS%. If we trade Beal for high lotto picks, we're going to be in for a rough season or two while they learn the ropes.

No Mitchell Robinson this half and we're still jacking 3s. Down 20 I get it, but when it was single digits, Russ was attacking. But I'll give Noel credit for holding up. Oh well. If you think a 6-17 start is ugly, wait until we face:
Boston L
Houston L
Denver L
Portland L
Lakers L
Clippers L
Nuggets L
Possible win at home against Minnesota
at Boston L
Memphis (possible win)
Clippers L

They were hanging from 61-57 to 70-64 at 2:00 in the third. A 9-0 end of quarter run made the Knicks lead 15 points.

Coach Brooks made certain substitutions...

The Knicks then scored the first 5 points in the fourth. Suddenly, what was a 4-point game is a 20-point deficit, 84-64.

Well, this game at least shows how good Beal is. This team is crap without him.
Bye bye Beal.

Let me be more specific about how Westbrook stinks:

He is not good when on the floor --
He never stops trying to score
Except when tossing an errant pass.
On defense, he looks entirely gassed.
A 3-ball to Westbrook's far too tempting,
His teammates' better shots preempting.
The ball is dribbled off his knee,
Now watch him shout at the referee.
I'm not sure when he lost his lift,
But now his game is mostly ****.

Brooks calls a timeout down 25. Might be time to sit Russ. Put the rest of the bench in. Does it even matter? Will Bertans ever get back to last year's (first half) shooting? 4 1/2 more years of him.

I should be clear that my dumping on Westbrook isn't because his teammates are any better. He's just more noticeable because the ball is always in his hands.

Thank you I have not had a signature in a while. That is worthy and I will quote! :)

If I ever coached I would make a point to have all white guy lined up just because! :-)

They were +1 in 3 minutes of action. Therefore, we can conclude that the team would win every game by 16 points if they did it all the time. :D

Hoosiers. White picket fence no racist intended. Princeton offense. System ball. Recall the 1972 Russia Olympic Team. No Black Russians, pun intended.

The year that the Boston Celtics were 40 wins and one loss at home their team was pretty much entirely...

https://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/BOS/1986.html

Outside of Robert Parrish and Dennis Johnson The next. seven players in the rotation were all white. 67-15 NBA champs.

Coached by KC Jones

I’m on this rant to say race really shouldn’t matter.
Bye bye Beal.

We are clearly the most unathletic team in the league. Russ, even in his current state, was by far the best athlete we had out there tonight. Matthews or Len probably 2nd which tells you all you need to know about Tommy and Ted as talent evaluators.

At the postgame press conversation a media person should ask Russell if he can drive a tank.

“How about you, Coach Brooks? M1 or Sherman? Which one is your favorite tank?“
Bye bye Beal.
