Bloody Westbrook with a last possession when no one but himself touched the ball...and then bricks a 3...

I don't think he's mentally checked in this year. We saw what he's capable of vs the Nets so clearly he's not completely washed. But who knows.

A lot of it is physical. He's had a legitimate quad injury and reportedly had a procedure done, aside from a dislocated finger. There's a reason why he missed several weeks (would have been more games had the Wiz not been on a pause). The mental part is what's frustrating.

Yup, there's been games where his shot isn't going and he'll stop shooting and set up the team more. Then there's days like today where the game could've been put away already and he's like f*** it.

Westbrook - like clockwork - 5 of 19. That's consistency!

Three straight Houston possessions near the end of the 3rd quarter - drives right over Lopez for easy points. We might as well have a 5'10 player playing center - seriously. Btw, he rebounds like a 5'10 center.

The problem with Russell Westbrook is his decision-making.

So in the last 3 mins of the 3rd Q... Westbrook TO, doesnt get back to cover his man, misses (another) 3 pointer. He is not washed up. He is just doing things that he shouldnt be doing. He is still quite capable.

Given that we are in the age of analytics, does RW lead the league
in possessions where he never passes the ball and misses a shot?
He’s made that a specialty.

The Wiz playing decently despite Westbrick. Didn't see this happening where they'd get a sweep (assuming they hold on) of Boston and Houston. Though who knew John would be back with no Gordon, Wood, and Dipo. Maybe they'll consider going back to resting him on the second end of a BTB.

Great game for Bertans. He needed this. Hopefully this is the end of his funk.

If we don’t get a top three pick we need to get Mo Wagner’s little brother.
Bye bye Beal.

My new signature. Russell Westbrook is very difficult to watch.
Bye bye Beal.

Hero ball with only Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal taking shots does not work.
Bye bye Beal.

Big 3 by Wagner. Unselfish pass from Beal.
