Literally one of the weirdest plays I've ever seen. How does no one run to the rim? And then Murray inexplicably picks up his dribble.

I guess Brooks would say that he went with the hot hand with Neto. I would have gone offense for defense and brought in Bonga or Brown Jr to get additional length on Murray.

Murray had Porter in the corner aswell. He could’ve easily ran to the bucket and got a lay up and took it to OT. Just stupid!!!

I'll watch the press conference, but if I had to guess. Murray wanted to shoot a 3 to win the game. Beal jumped him. And then Campazzo and Porter Jr assumed that Murray would go to the hoop so they wanted to provide spacing just in case. In a 3 on 1 situation I think Murray needs to attack the hoop there. Force Beal to commit and then either finish or kick. If you decide to shoot the 3, you better be wide open.

I think you’re right. The guy with the ball has to go to the basket to avoid that confusion though, like you said.
