Alright, old Wiz are back. No D. Or it's just a bad matchup. We played well for about 7 or 8 games and some here were celebrating the effort of the last game. I'm not sure they are having a hangover from that loss. You gotta win that game. Or maybe it's time to tank again.

The winning streak is officially history.

Instead of arguing back-and-forth with other people who post here I’m just gonna break and say I’m sorry if I offended anybody. It’s just tragic when you think the team has turned the corner and they have not.
Bye bye Beal.

Morant getting into the paint is just unstoppable. So as long as you have a center that just sinks on that PnR. You're going to have problems defensively. Morant is just toying with us.

Bad call by the ref there. Beal never dribbled the ball.

I just can’t see how anyone would have scouted Gonzaga and then drafted Rui over Clarke.

What is the point of playing Deni and some of the younger guys if they never shoot when they get the ball when they are open? You can't just always concede. Play more aggressively.

Clarke is just fascinating to watch. I think Clarke is going to be a very good player for a long time. On a team like Memphis he doesn't really help much. But he'll be a legit role player for a championship team. He could make a real difference for a team like the Nets.

For everybody who was saying “don’t overreact to the loss against Boston,” do you think we get blown out tonight if we ended up beating the Celtics? Because I think we play an entirely different brand of basketball tonight had that happened.

What a difference watching the ball movement of Memphis vs the ISO crap the Wiz often run

This jump ball thing is so stupid. Why can't they just go to video. Unreal.

Deni didn't just hit a rookie wall, he hit the Great Wall.

They've run very little ISO stuff in the third quarter. When you can't make shots, does it matter?

Someone clearly told him shoot the ball now he's just taking contested 3s. Its like our guys don't know how to play basketball sometimes

It was a good shot. He just has to make it.

This is true, but how good is Memphis? How much better will they be? They are 15 and 15. What's the way forward for Memphis to be a championship team? Also, if you added in a superstar right now, would they have the same ball movement? I would also point out that hisotorically ball movement teams without stars don't do well in the playoffs. Look at the Raptors. Look at the Hawks with Budenholzer. The Wall-Beal Wizards beat them. They are spanking us tonight, but let's not romanticize what the Grizzlies have. They are a middling team with a lack of ways to improve the team. Especially once Morant gets his max deal and all of these role players sign their second contracts
