GT #36: 76ers @ Bullets 7 PM (NBCSW/1500 AM)

Post#1 » by FAH1223 » Thu Mar 11, 2021 6:07 am

YOUR Washington Bullets are now 14-21 and still at the bottom of the Eastern playoff picture!

After getting manhandled by the Grizzlies, the Bullets return home for another homestand. They face a 76ers team coming off a back to back Thursday @ Chicago. The 76ers were nearly beaten by the Bullets in the season opener. The second game in Philly was a wild one where Beal scored 60 to keep the Bullets within striking distance. But Embiid showed why he has a great case for being the league MVP along with acrobatic plays by Simmon/Harris and these other players like Shake Milton who seem to be Bullet killers.

Will your Bullets get their first W on the 76ers? Or will draft lottery positioning be strengthened?

ESPN says both Embiid and Simmons are out which I'm fine with given the next three games.

And that's very fine with Wagner. But watch out for Tony Bradley - who made 7 of 7 shots yesterday.

Dwight also had 18 and 12 off the bench for the 76ers.

The story within the game - Will it convince the 76ers that they should try to trade for Bertans?

March is when I find NCAA games so much more compelling than NBA games.
Bye bye Beal.

Might be time for a lineup change. Of course, competition getting tougher so it might not matter.

I hear the tank starting to pull out of the garage. Needs a little gas but it's ready to go.

If they are going to "showcase" Troy Brown, might be time to get Neto out of there and put him in.

Bertans doesn't know how to play basketball. The credit he has been given so far doesn't make any sense. The way he decides at to throw the ball and shoot to the basket without even checking if he has a guard on him, if he's open or not, it is just awful to see. Every shoot he took was a bad and contested shoot. Not a good basketball i must say..

That floppy shi-t ain't going to get called. Good for the refs, but that doesn't mean elbows to the face shouldn't get called. Oh well. Typical Wiz. Get down big. Fight back hard. Sixers don't seem to need Simmons yet.

Man, the Wizards are getting no calls. That was a goaltend on Embiid followed by an offensive foul. Neither called.

Wagner flopped. Not going to get the calls based on rep. Agree about the goaltending.
