Agreed. Now can we package him and Westbrook for an expiring? :D

Yup, it's time to get what you can for Lopez. Wish Ish was healthy. Rest the veterans when you can. It's over even if there are 35 games left. If you get to 12 games under .500 after another L to Milwaukee and then Utah and the Nets. Sacramento in the middle on Wed. could be a win, but they are playing a bit better. Trade deadline coming up. Be a seller, not a buyer. Of course, with Ted, who the hell knows. :noway:

Why would you trade Rui? What's the point? Do you want to wait another 3-4 years of 8-10th draft picks to win? They can have Westbrook though. Maybe Clips would take him because they don't care about the tax and they need a point guard. Well, a point guard who can shoot and pass. :(

Now the key is seeing the same Rui with Beal back on Monday. Get him shots early.

Rui's 29 points was exactly the same as he's had in his last 3 games combined. Rui's 11 rebounds was exactly the same as his previous 4 games combined.

Watching the replay.

Many of Rui's moves look like he copied them from Beal's repertoire. If he can play SF full time that would be awesome. Though he played this game from the top of the key, as if he were a giant 2 guard. Maybe if we got a great low post player he would also learn to copy their moves.

More than anything, I want him to rebound like he did against Milwaukee. He pulled down a few grown ass man rebounds in traffic. There's no reason why he shouldn't be a much better rebounder. He is athletic, long-armed, strong, smart, and not afraid of contact. There's got to be a way to teach him to just have a "nose for the ball". I know some of it is instinctive, but some of the techniques can be learned too.

I wasn't able to watch the game, :(. But, it's on my DVR, & I will catch it later on today.

Rui's best game ever -- outstanding!
Breaking News: In a shocking development, Wizards owner Ted Leonsis has sold the NBA franchise to a consortium of participants in a discussion board devoted to the team on realgm.com. Details to follow....

Rui's game was the complete offensive game i expect to see from Deni in the future. Hachimura was like a mini Lebron. I can not hide my disapointment from Deni being passive in a night Bertans & Beal are resting, when u have a lot more looks and oppurtunities. Defensively right now Deni is very good, but offensively he will have to make an improvement in the summer. It's a must if he wants to be a legitimate NBA player. He has to be able doing a lot more than just catch & shoot, and driving to the right. His offensive game is very predictable right now, and it is not good, even if he's just a rookie. Must know how to create for himself, and to be good at it.
