Well the writing was on the wall when they didn't pick up his option This seems a Tommy Sheppard move to keep Brooks from wasting PT on him that should be going elsewhere (Winston, Avdija, Bonga, etc).

It's hilarious that the team has to be run like this, but you may be right. Maybe Robinson's recent run was Brooks giving him one last chance before even Brooks came to the realization that it just wasn't going to happen.
We're keeping 4 pg lineup lineup dream alive though, now that Ish is back and with Winston playing every now and then.
