Westbrook has stolen at least 4 of Hachimura's rebounds so far. Hachimura does all the work of boxing a guy out, the ball is coming right to his hands, and Westbrook flies in and grabs it. IDGAF what the Rui haters say, Rui is totally fine as a rebounder. He's not elite or anything, but his low rebound rate on the stat sheet is not representative of his rebounding ability. Westbrook steals so many of them.

Great win. Exciting finish. Beal was clutch, and what a 4-pointer. Deni with the smart D at the end. Some terrific contributions all around: Rui with 22 (!) and I saw him covering Curry a lot, Lopez with some nifty inside play and good D, Westbrook with toughness and hustle and explosion ...

I think Masai has a lot to work with.

We agree on that. But consider the organization. Going to play an injured star, because he wants to suck it up and show he's tough, playing with a bruised hip for a team that is competing for the 10th spot. Any other team in this spot, would sit him until he was close to 100%.

Wait. I forgot that Beal is the co-GM now. If he wants to play, he's going to play. They don't want to anger him or he'll opt out.
