Epic performances from both last night. Beal drops 50 with a TS of 70%. You would think that would close the gap a little.
Then Curry drops 49 with an 80% TS....in 29 minutes.

Yeah, if Beal is going to lose the scoring title to someone, at least it's to someone like Steph Curry. That dude is something else.

I hope Curry scores 80 next game to put this out of reach - and then Beal decides to sit out the rest of the regular season to rest up. Last thing we need is Beal to fight through hamstrings, ankles, whatever else is bothering him, and have him less than 100% for the play-in and playoffs.

I've seen Brad Cook Bazemore many times. So when Steph is injured, is it because he can't keep up?

Probably not a good idea to joke about another player's injury. Beal was obviously pissed about missing the overtime. Fortunately they won anyway.

Bradley Beal hurt his image. Hypersensitive doesn’t endear.
When he does return to action this could actually put a little bit more pressure on him.

And Bazemore probably didn't mean anything by it - he was just trying to be funny/cute. It was foolish on his part - but Beal dramatically overreacted - at a time when he should have been celebrating the accomplishment of his teammate.

Beal, if he plays in the last regular season game, must score 32 more points than Curry to win the scoring average title. So, if for example, Curry scores 20 points, then Beal must score 52 points, in order to win the scoring average title.
