That is good news. I didn't watch the injury. I feared the worst when I saw they had covered his leg with a warmup.

Yeah that made it look like it was going to be way worse than a hariline thing. I'm glad it's 'just' that and I hope he comes back strong next year.

Glad it is not a bad injury. Hope he takes the time to heal properly. The extended break should help his injury, but also gives him time to strengthen his body, and work on his game.

Yeah, the towel got us all out of whack. I didn't know if it was a compound, an achilles. Not what you want to happen, but based off of everything this could have gone down a lot worse.

Huge! Guy absolutely needed a typical NBA off-season to weight train and work on his game and it looks like the timeline for recovery will allow him to do that.

Unfortunate for Avdija, but I think he has a bright future. I am glad it isn't anything worse than that.

So, it sounds like they've gotten the x-ray - finding the hairline fracture (I used to wonder if that meant someone's going bald), but have they done an MRI? Seems like an x-ray wouldn't cover everything they should be looking at. And yes, I play Dr. Ruz on the internet. It's quite unlucrative.
