Neto was unconscious tonight. And set the tone on defense.

He’s my POTG

Not a clear winner. I vote for Mr Triple double. He has clearly been the main driver for culture change. Neto and Gafford were also good.

Russ has been an incredible positive force for the Wizards, but he wasn't the player of the game this time.

Neto was POTG. He was flat out unbelievable last night.

At the same time, last night did feature a bunch of really outstanding performances. Just look at Gill's line, Mathews' line, & Gafford's line.

In fact, the bench was unbelievable altogether: they took 36 shots & produced 48 points out of them.

As a whole, the bench posted a .686 TS% -- kind of amazing, really.

Ish had an absurd +34 and pushed the tempo, and when Gafford was in - he made both the O and D significantly better, but I voted Neto for his terrific 2nd half - after a mediocre 1st half. He was everywhere with effective double-teams and deflections - and hit his shots. He played the second half with an enormous sense of urgency.
