For other teams... - I think the best chance is he falls because he is relatively unknown.

Probably already know who they want. I'm in the Duarte camp but us working him out makes me think he's just a back up plan.

I'm pretty sure some of these guys are more likely to get the Head Coach job than to be drafted by us. What do you think?
Yet... I'd never heard of Micah Potter. Looked at his number. They were extremely gaudy his Junior & Senior years. I mean... really good!
I still don't want him as our coach, however.

Asbjorn Midtgaard posted a .718 TS% for Grand Canyon -- which is, I remind you, a really big canyon.

Quinton left out the most important name of them all. Zane Martin!

I posted about Micah Potter a few times this year, good to see that they have some interest. He might be a nice undrafted gem.

Congrats, that's a really really bad team.
That is not a bad team. A backcourt trip of Suggs, White, and Butler would be one of the best in the league. Gafford is one of the better Cs in the league, tons of wing depth. 7 guys on rookie deals, and tons of cap room. That team is a lot better than the roster we had last year, with tons of flexibility moving forward and room to grow.

No chance he falls now, but Giddey is looking even better than he did in the NBL this year. Change of direction and fluid athleticism, much better and tighter handle, superb confidence, shooting the ball without hesitation. He’s going to be an absolute natural from day 1 in the NBA. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up the best player in the draft or on par with Suggs/Mobley.
Wiz should seriously be looking to trade up and secure a big piece for the future.

It'll be fun to watch him vs Ball - to compare and contrast them. helluva game by Australia - they look so skilled.

I don't think he makes it to us. And we have no assets to move up. It'd have to be Avdija + 15 to maybe get in the 7-10 range, which won't happen.
I'd like to see Indiana pick him up. Would be a really nice fit.

How far can we move up with Bryant? Probably like 3-4 spots.

Lol. Probably not. I saw this on Twitter too. Again the valuation on Bryant seems to be bit off.

Shot looks cleaner which is great! The thing I noticed is his size. He looks like a legit 6-8. I still have him at 5 or 6. He's way out of our range at this point.

Does it? Looks like an ugly push shot with a low release, just a foot further back and it's going to fall apart, you can't accurately shoot from distance with that technique.

Could see San Antonio going for Giddey too
But they have so many guards already. If they did take him, White or Murray would be gone... probably for wing help.

I have Giddey at 5 - just not seeing anyone else - including Kuminga - challenging him for the 5th spot. The draft is a hodgepodge from 6 through... quite a lot of picks.

I'm not a shot expert but it looks quicker and smoother from some of his earlier tape. Not to say it can't get better but I see progress.

Cam Thomas reminds me of Juan Dixon, Gary Neal, Marcus Thornton, etc. Just an outright gunner with full on tunnel vision. He'll score and likely be a negative every else.

He couldn't be Vinnie Johnson? or Bulls-era Ben Gordon?
