This is really the best trade that we could hope for with Westbrook.

If Beal wants out I'm fine, but to start with an injured John Wall and to get that off the books in two years is a great move.

My respect for Westbrook grew a bunch of the past year. Dude still makes bad decisions sometimes, but there's no doubt about his heart.

What's interesting is that 3 years 39/mil each for Kuzma and Pope are either great values or horrible contracts depending on how they pan out in a situation where they are asked to produce more. You have to like the defense KCP brings in the backcourt compared to what they've had, Kuzma/Rui is interesting because both play the same position and are very similar.

We better get their pick.

I’m not believing that Westbrook wants a trade as much as I am wondering why the Lakers would want Westbrook.

Lebron and Westbrook are best when they have the ball in hand.

The wiz would be paying 90 to help beal and teach the team how to play hard night in and night out. But those players are not a path to more wins in the short or long term.

Jeebus, this seems to be really happening. My fear with a trade with the Lakers was that we'd have to take on a re-signed Schroder to an absurdly over-paid 4 year deal. If we don't have to take him, this could be ok, but... I can't imagine this makes Beal want to stay. Who's our point guard?
