Even if we do gut the team to get dame we are back to have two high paid guards and no team around them.

I think if Lillard is dealt, then McCollum would be likely to be dealt. I could see the Wizards being interested if the price was reasonable. While both McCollum and Beal are shooting guards, they both can handle the ball well enough to play together. If the Wizards essentially turned Westbrook into McCollum, that would be a huge win for the off-season.

Wiz can't offer enough. We got a future 1st tied up with Detroit via Houston. I don't see Hachimura + Avdija & salary getting it done.

If I'm Blazer fan it's an easy no. Avdija hasn't proved anything and Rui while not terrible needs to have a breakthrough year before he develops real trade value. You'll know when you have real trade value for Lillard when the deal no longer becomes a no-brainer. Like Rui is averaging 22, 7 and 4 on 38% from 3 and 5 ft attempts a game. And then we'd still have to throw in 2 1sts and Avdija.

If Rui averages 22-7-4 on 38% from 3, then we shouldn’t make that trade regardless.

As great as Lillard is, a trade to DC wouldn't make sense, because he has the same problem that Beal has - defense. That's the problem Portland has teaming him with McCollum. Lillard should be teamed with a good defensive guard. Lillard is better than Simmons, but Simmons would be a smarter target for the Wiz.

I'd trade the farm for Lillard. Whatever Portland wants, they can have.
